Small, clean, charming hôtel. good welcome, very good breakfast--especially good croissants. i will return! The entrance is narrow and could be difficult to find:it's just an ordinary door on the street. So use your mobile 'phone, and be sure. Well worth it.

At our friends' request we arranged to meet them in Vannes on one of the busiest weekends in June, 27,000 extra visitors for a large Book fair under the Ramparts, and Watersports in the Harbour and adjacent Gulf of Morbihan. We don't normally do weekends, and this usually makes for good choice. Vannes is one of the oldest, most historic...

Based in the town within the shopping center it is easy to get to things. However despite nice helpful staff we just couldn't get on with having a flimsy piece of curtain instead of a door for the toilet. Despite being married for years!! Basic fresh breakfast, it's not a budget place so I'm afraid we wouldn't stay again.

A modernised townhouse in the centre of the old town: very convenient for walking to the sights, shopping and eateries. If stairs are a concern then don’t bother as the reception is on the 1st floor and all rooms are on the 2nd floor, no lift. However the welcome was warm, friendly and informative and at my request my case...

We like to park the car and explore on foot when we visit lovely places like Vannes, so this means central hotels. Mostly they are expensive but this was great value. Not a lot of facilities but at the price it's better than you might expect. Within a few steps you have a myriad of pleases to eat and drink...

First of all this is a review of la villa Garenne (not offered by Trip Adviser) which comes under Hotel La Bretagne. It is located near the 'estuary' which runs to the port and is handy for all the restaurants and the medieval sights. The themed rooms are furnished to perfection, clean and tidy. 24 hour tea and coffee are...

We found this hotel by chance in the centre of Vannes. The some of the rooms are small, but very clean and well maintained. All rooms are upstairs, including reception and the dining room, so unsuitable for people with mobility difficulties. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Amazing value for B&B in the centre of a lively town

Lovely little hotel in the center of Vannes, easy walking to restaurants. Rooms pristine and comfortable, staff and breakfast superb and all for a great price! Vannes is a beautiful old town, well worth a visit.

The guest house, La villa Garenne, of the hotel Le Bretagne has everything one dreams of; high quality, agreeable service and good situation. The owners were agreeable, both helpfull and discreet! the room on the first floor (some stairs) was large, light, nicely decorated, very well maintained with a large and also new bathroom. There is one road on one...

I stayed here for one night in September 2013. The hotel is an easy 10 min walk (with suitcase) from the station and very near the town centre. There is no lift and you need to negotiate a small flight of stairs to get to reception. My small, but beautifully decorated bedroom, overlooked the city walls. The breakfast (7 euros)...
