Booking a 4* spa hotel to find: . Underwear left in my room . Owners smoking in the hotel . Dog hair on the floor . Cigarette smelling in the morning on my floor . Dogs barking at night . Zero insolation Have never imagined that such hotel would exist.

Shower Water is either freezing or cold , breakfast disorganised , decor very cheap and tasteless. Only good thing is location and kindness of staff but overall inefficiencies disqualify this hotel as a 4 star one. Sorry because Barbizon is beautiful and worth staying if you accept that few restaurants serve after 9pm.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Sweet little bar and a swimming pool. Room was very nice with bathrobes and slippers. Would stay again for sure. For Americans the air conditioning doesn't come on this time of year but the window brings in cool air and sleeping at night was no problem.

So what's good about this hotel, other than its attractive external face in the charming village of Barbizon? It has a nice large bathroom with tub and separate shower. A comfy bed. A lovely person manning the front desk (and all other hotel services) during a very slow holiday season. But remove the minibar (required for a 4 star) and...

It was a pleasure to stay there for 4 days. Very nice small town that shows real France as it is, perfect hotel for people who needs comfort and good service. Me and my boyfriend had a perfect time together staying in the hotel, visiting town and closest towns.

We just stayed for one night "by mistake" because we could not find a hotel so we tried that hotel and we also saw Barbizon. (Barbizon is a must!!! you will think you are in a different world. Such a nice and romantic place!) Our room was so sweet, nice and clean. The bed was good and the breakfast too....

We stayed in this lovely hotel for the third time this month, but what a change .... restaurant closed , no room service and very poor bar service . The rooms are nice but the lack of service was very disappointing .

We stayed in a Suite (de luxe) for two nights. The room has been comfortable, spacy and clean. The style is modern and kept quite well. We had also a large balcony with a nice view. The problem: no service! A young crew, not helpful, not educated. We arrived by car, nobody came to the entrance, nobody helped with the...

Stayed here 1 night on business trip. Had room 104. Very good room ( AC, minibar, comfy bed, spacious, good bathroom w shower). Hotel was surprisingly big. Didn't use spa facilities. Ordered roomservice breakfast which was delivered promptly at 07h30, as requested. The town of Barbizon itself was full of restaurants, though not many open at a Tuesday evening in...

Whoever designed the renovation of the Hotel Les Pleiades should be kept away from any successful business or national landmark...unless of course you enjoy gray paint and stark rooms without art or decor. Maybe that's unfair since we stayed in two of the least expensive rooms in the hotel (Only 21 rooms but what seems like a 1/2 kilometer struggle...
