We were here for work with a number of other colleagues, and sadly only able to stay for one night! This place is deep in the forest near St Germain, and provides a fantastic escape from busy Paris. We ate here and thoroughly enjoyed the set menu (limited choice - basically fish or meat to start and for main, and...

Set in wonderful grounds, a great place to unwind in peace and quiet! The rooms are all of a good size and well equipped .I must have stayed here now 50 times over the past three years, and am never disappointed. The staff are always very helpful and very friendly. the prices are a fraction of the prices of inner...

Came here for a wedding and stayed in the Chateau that evening. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate. It is very quiet around here but safe. The ball room and dining room where you have breakfast is beautiful. Room is nice but nothing extraordinary. Good selection for breakfast. The town itself is a 10 minute taxi journey away from the...

Tucked away in woods just outside St Germain en Laye this ex Royal Hunting Lodge used to be (perhaps still is) a retreat for the members of the French Legion Of Honour. It is extremely good value. The rooms are large, very comfortable and the shower the most powerful I have ever had in a hotel. Downside is that it...

The property is a chateau in the Forest de St Germain in Paris. Set in acres of beautiful grounds. Absolutely lovely. Rooms are nice, breakfast is good, well laid out spread including some treats like smoked salmon. But there is no bar! And they were not able to offer us dinner. It is more of a business meeting location than...

This is a charming chateau in a lovely town. Note that you can't walk from town; it is a bit far and there are no sidewalks on this road. The place is welcoming, and although I do not speak French and the desk clerk did not speak English, we managed! The rooms are quite nice and spacious (especially spacious when...

Very Basic room. My bed was leaning towards one side. The drainage in the bathroom was extremely loud. I had the salmon and vegetables for dinner and it was bland unseasoned food, with, what looked like, frozen vegetables from a bag.

If you want to stay out of Paris, this hotel gives you something different. The Hotel is in a chateau, the rooms range from some in the main house, to the newer annex. Lovely grounds to walk around, also nearby forests are good for walking, cycling etc. The Evening meal is excellent, with a good selection of wine which is...

After paying a small fortune for below standard Paris hotels, I decided to stay on the fringe of the city and take the train in (25 min ride, including stops). I was so happy & surprised to this gorgeous converted Royal hunting lodge. Frederic, who was manning the desk upon our arrival, was helpful about travel details to the city,...

We arrived from Spain around 16.00 hrs in St Germain. The address mentioned was not in our GPS system. We asked everywhere and nobody knows this hotel. Tried to phone them but we got 4 times a band message that they were available between 15.00 and 23.00 hrs and then nothing. At last we arrived at 20.00 hrs in a...
