Nice hostel. good beds & clean room. Small garden which gives feeling of tranquility in the middle of town. Friendly staff and good hospitality. Good restaurant with nice and local dish, good quality. Close to Bus stop , right at the Panamericana.

We live in US and traveled to Lima to visit the family. We planned a short trip "Tuquillo" beach (in Huarmey). We got a different hotel recommended however they didn't have rooms available so we ended up staying at La Posada de Huarmey and we don't regret it. The service was personalized by the owners and the staff was helpful...

I stayed at this small hotel while travelling on business in Peru. The owners Sylvia and Peter are wonderful people--very kind, friendly and charming. The hotel restaurant makes a wonderful sudado (fish stew) and a superb pollo saltado. The hotel itself is well-run and very hospitable. The very best place to stay in Huarmey! All in all highly recommended.

I did nto stay at the hotel but the restaurant is an excellent option to stop to eat when you drive from Lima of to LIma form the North part of Peru. There is simple Peruvian food, specially sea food prepared deliciously and at a very reasonable price. Service was very fast and good
