We have stayed at Camping Del Mar for 3 consecutive years and obviously we really enjoyed the experience, many positive aspects...........Super clean well run site, Ex pats are great fun, plenty of amenities, lots of organised events for parents and kids, swimming pool, restaurant, bar and shop. the negatives are; quite noisy as it gets late evening, some of the camp users (French) are a little reserved and hard work, Luna Park is close and you can hear it until 11 ish. I would recommend Vincents Pizza shop on the site ............Top Guy and speaks anglaise, Be careful which chalet you rent, AC is a MUST. Argeles sur mer is a little paradise.

We first stayed at Camping Del Mar in September 2017 when the one and only important negative was the treatment we received at the hands of the then head of reception. We nevertheless chose to return this year given that we had heard that she would have retired by then. I was much relieved when this turned out to be true. Our reception this year was by comparison smooth and friendly. We now have no reservation in strongly recommending this site in this and all other aspects.

Excellent little camping site in all aspects but with one glaring exception. The reception is managed by a lady called Valerie. Her attitude from the outset was offhand, surly, sarcastic and simply rude. I am a fluent French speaker and had the opportunity to compare her tone when dealing with French visitors. Whereas it certainly wasn't as warm or welcoming as you would expect it nevertheless differed considerably from the demeanour she exhibited when dealing with English people. The only logical explanation would appear to be that she is a dedicated Anglophobe. I say this with regret because otherwise the location, design and facilities were great and the bar and restaurant staff were by comparison charming and friendly. Stayed in a friends chalet for a week in October. Although many of the facilities were closed due to the season ending, we had a lovely and relaxing time. The swimming pool was clean and maintained and the facilities, such as laundry, were easy to access. Although not in the heart of Argeles, the site is easy to access by car and reasonably close to restaurants and supermarkets (we used Lidl and Intermarche, which the reception has maps for). It is also 500m from a beautiful beach. Try La Gamate, a restaurant in Centre Village, where the the food is really beautiful. Also go swimming and to the Sunday morning market at Collioure. Enjoy :)

Bonjour, Tout d'abord merci d'avoir partagé votre expérience au sein de notre établissement, je suis désolé que celui-ci ne vous ai pas donné entière satisfaction, mais je tiens a apporter quelques précisions, au niveau des animations nous n'en annonçons que pour les mois de juillet-Aout il n'est donc pas étonnant qu'il n'y en ai pas eu, la piscine apporte satisfaction a la majorité de nos clients (nous avons 360m² de plan d'eau) et nous ne mettons pas de parasols autour car étant en bord de mer le vent peut souffler brusquement très fort et il serait dangereux que des parasols s'envolent autour de la piscine. Quand aux services (bar - pizzeria) les horaires au mois de juin sont réduits par rapport a la pleine saison et sont ouverts majoritairement en fin d'après midi et le soir. et malheureusement nos équipes techniques ont été surchargées a la fin du mois de juin ce qui explique qu’ils n'aient pas pu régler votre petit problème. Malgré les soucis que vous avez rencontré j’espère que nous aurons a nouveau le plaisir de vous accueillir et pourquoi pas lors des mois de juillet - Août pour que vous puissiez profiter des animations et des services annexes Cordialement

Stayed here in rented mobile home for two weeks from 9th August, 2014 till 23rd August, and loved it. We met so many lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, the entertainment etc., was excellent, and we will certainly holiday there again. The free bus service to the centre of Argeles was an absolute bonus. Many thanks to all the staff!

We have stayed at camping-del-mar now for the last 3 years and we all love it. This year much work has gone into modernising the entire site. All facilities have been highly modernised and caters for everyone's needs (although we loved it the old fashioned French way it was). It is a well established site with many palm trees, hedges for privacy and beautiful blooms. The kids love it because of all the different fun activities which are provided day and night. They enjoy the large funfair which is 5 min walk away, the Tropical golf, boat rides, paint ball, pony riding, Aqua Park and much more. We all enjoy spending time round the pool. I like to swim and it's nice and large. I also enjoy the Aqua classes every morning. The kids love the new supervised water shoots. The beach is fabulous with many bars/restaurants. Took us 5 min to walk. There are all kinds of water sports activities; on water, under water and in the air. We enjoyed catching the little train on wheels which took us down to the harbour and the nightlife. We biked all over the place including to the fantastic markets with fresh fruit, veg and fashion. The children want to go back to Camping-Del-Mar every year and so do we up to now. It has everything you could possibly want. Whether it's a complete rest or action packed holiday you are looking for. The local wine is highly recommended and so cheap! Enjoy!…

The French Receptionist at the entrance to the camp was extremely rude to the Irish and English guests. The bar closed early and there was little or no entertainment in the evenings. Apart from that the swimming was spotless and there were plenty of sun lounges by the pool.
