Room for 3 was on the top floor, which was abit of a blow, but the room was small, but very comfortable. Good wifi, bathroom a little bit small though, with the toilet up close to the door. Breakfast was simple but very nice, bread and croissants freshly bought.

Typical older room with small bathroom. Immaculately clean, it is owned and operated by a charming couple who appreciated our rudimentary grasp of French. The breakfast @ €8 was continental with fresh fruit and yogurt. The owner keep our rooms for us till 9 PM without a deposit or credit card. Definitely would stay here again. Just one issue, there... Enjoyed the stay, and everything was fine. Enjoyable evening meal and breakfast. Professionally managed by the owners, but not a lot of humour in the hotel I would stay here again, but I feel that welcoming,is not the buzz word here. There is a nice bar and lounge here, however both were closed by 10pm

On arrival at this hotel we were lucky enough to park outside the door, but one of the reasons we chose this hotel was for its private parking and the garage door was shut. On checking in we where told that would not be open it until 19:00. Okay as long as the car is alright where it is then?... More

We arrived at hotel around 2.30 pm and it was closed, after knocking on doors and windows we finally managed to get someones attention. After checking in we were told that we were not to use any part of the hotel except for our rooms until 5.30 pm. We had breakfast next morning (cost 8 euros each) which consisted of... More

I was visiting the hotel for 2 days and arrived at 9PM. The hotel was locked and I had a code for the entrance to the receoption where I could pick up my keep. There were nobody in the reception that evening. Actually there is free WiFi at the hotel, but I did not receive the code for the WiFi... More

I did not stay at this hotel (would have liked to!) but was lucky enough to be invited for lunch. I fully agree with 'Loveitdoneright' about the quality of welcome, service and cooking offered by M et Mme Roussel and their staff. Just wonderful local specialities and a nice comfortable ambiance to go with it. I'm working on my plan... More

Stayed here in early July 2014. Rooms clean and tidy if a bit small. Hotel staff helpful. Restaurant was busy in evening with locals so I would say it has a good reputation. The garden bar is a bit limited but OK for a pre dinner beer. Hotel is a short walk from the town square which is typically french... More

A typical small French hotel well situated about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Cambrai. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday, which was a little disappointing as whilst the simple rooms were clean and comfortable the bar, cafe, restaurant and public areas close after breakfast at the weekend. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit and yoghurt as... More

We elected to stay at this hotel because of its proximity to the nearby harbour. As we were arriving after a long flight, and then a train trip, we booked in for a week to unjet-lag prior to attending an appointment. Our initial impression of Cambrai was coloured by the complete absence of taxis, including flat refusal by the only... More
