We had booked a night as the price and location were good. We weren't worried about the 2star rating as only wanted a bed. On opening the room door we were extremely surprised- in a very good way! A spacious, extremely clean and comfortable room awaited. Staff were welcoming and friendly and there were even hot options at breakfast. This... More

According to the room you might get, your night might be different, but even for the smaller room, there is everything you need to get a studious evening of work (there is free wifi and desk in every room) and an (almost) quiet night to recover. The breakfast is good except and if you don't eat dairy-product, eggs or meat,... More

I stayed here on a work trip. The hotel is quite easy to get to but parking is not very good. We ended up parking up near the roundabout between the two lanes of traffic. The staff are very helpful and speak a little English. I stayed in one of the superior rooms. I’m not sure on the standard rooms... More

PROS - Location, in the center of the village. This allow you to walk around to find a restaurant, a pub or even some attractions if you want to. - cost-effectiveness, for one or two nights on your own on a business trip I believe is a good option. - If the weather is nice you can use the garden,... Really good hotel. Great position and very friendly. Charming and central. Would def recommend. Small enough to be cosy but very accommodating helpful staff. The reception staff gave us a map and directions to some great places on check in without asking which proved really useful.

Biking along the Scheldt and Scarpe rivers this proved the ideal stop nicely placed in the center of Valanciennes. It scores well on the main criteria: good beds, clean, quiet, good breakfast, well located and very friendely staff. Especially the family room and the inner garden were nice. Value for money.

We went to the very busy braderie in Lille, the city was crowded. It was very nice to sleep in a nice, calm and comfortable quite place as this!

A small hotel ideally place to explore this part of France. Friendly and welcoming, staff who speak good English, clean comfortable rooms. An adequate Continental breakfast. Will stay at this hotel again when visiting Valenciennes.

The room I had was very large and cozy, as it had older furniture mixed with warm colours. The room was cleaned every day. I was surprised with the good standard of this two-star hotel. Wifi was reasonably fast and accessible from everywhere I went in the hotel. The only thing I can complain about was the €5 breakfast as... More

This hotel although limited in the facilities it offers is ideal for a short stay. The rooms although small are very clean and comfortable like the rest of the hotel. The staff is very helpful and although parking is on street you can park your car outside the pay zone if you wish to walk a few minutes to the... More
