Having checked some weeks before we arrived that we would have space for our large caravan vehicle combo we were dismayed to discover the site was crammed with “chalets “ and the number of touring pitches was virtually zero. We arrived at 1800 to discover reception closing and we were gives a sloping pitch with two large pine trees in the centre and a concrete wall to one side. The surface was loose soft sand. This provided an interesting challenge not only to get onto the pitch but also to level the caravan. The closest toilet and shower block had no grey water or chemical toilet discharge points and in any case was closed for repairs and refurbishments as were all the other blocks!! We had to have the most distant block opened by staff so we could use it. The leisure facilities, pool and play areas were beautiful but closed The advertised distance to the beach was misleading, too far to walk if you had under 10s. Not a happy experience, we will not return.

Dear customer, we are sorry for your disappointment... However, we would like to clarify: - we are a campsite with touring pitches AND mobil homes. This is writen on our website - you arrived at 6:30pm. In low season, we close at 6pm but the receptionist welcomed you and made your check-in. - She gave you the bigger pitch we have (216m²). We remind you that only few campsites accept double axle caravans... -we were doing work on our sanitary so you had to empty your chemical toilet a the other sanitary. We are confused. - about the pools and plays area, everything was open until the last day ! - the see is 800m of our beach access... It's really close to the beach ! There's been some misunderstanding between us. So we hope you will find a campsite that meets your expectations. Kind regards.

Nearly two weeks late in the season, most of the area and the site pretty much closed, shutting down for the end of season. So this meant that we had most things pretty much to ourselves. We stayed in our own motorhome, check in very simple and easy, very friendly and English speaking. The pools are beautiful, well kept, very clean, lots and lots of sun beds. Bar and area around is lovely, staff really friendly. The site is mainly for holiday homes and isn't really set up for motorhomes in as such there isn't a chemical disposal point and the water on pitch is a trickle only. If you can get around that, improvise and relax it's a great base to see the Vendée. All in all would definitely recommend and visit again.

We travelled here at the end of July with three boys to camp for two weeks. After a 16 hr trip to the vendee which we have done for the last 4 yrs we arrived around 2pm to find reception shut for two hours. We decided to walk around the site to view the available pitches too which there were not many. We were concerned to see that none of the pitches were of adequate size for our blow up tent which measures 7.6m x 4.2m. On visiting the reception after we were told the pitch they had given us measured 9 x 8m and would be fine but failed to grasp there was a tree in the middle of the pitch so there was no way our tent would fit in any direction especially with guide ropes. The girl tried ti explain to the owners on the phone but they were of no help and seemed uninterested. As you can imagine i was getting irate and we were being forced into a position of visiting other local sites in the hope we could find another pitch. Whilst i started visiting other sites, my wife tried in vain as they refused to refund any of our deposit unless we built our tent to prove it wouldn't fit which was insulting as they wanted us to empty the whole car to get the tent out. We found this insulting to say the least and want to warn all campers that they have in my eyes failed to offer a reasonable space so therefore should have at least refunded us but they were too arrogant. This ended costing us another £200 to get another site as well as the loss of £150 deposit. They nearly ruined our Holiday from the start and would like to warn all other Holiday makers to stay away from here if you are campers

Stayed for 10 days in tuorer. Very nice campsite. Plenty of room on the pitch with water and electricity. Pool is very good for young children. Indoor pool is heated and one outdoor pool is heated which turned out a treat as last five days weather got a lot cooler. You are gauranteed a sun lounger no matter what time you arrive at the pool which is a rare in any holiday park. Beach is about 15mins walk or there is ample parking at the beach should you wish to drive. Restaurant on site is ok, friendly staff and food is ok without being amazing. Playground and tennis / football / basketball court onsite which our children enjoyed. Sanitary facilities are maintained very clean. Plenty of activities in the local area. My only negative for the site is for the last 3 days of our stay we got neighbours playing music for most of the day although it was quite low the bass rattled through my brain. Very annoying!! Would visit again if noise restrictions were introduced.

Very disappointed, we were put close to the bar which didn’t turn off its blaring music every night until after 12. There is no “quite time” at night with parties regularly going on until the early hours. Food in the bar was mediocre at best with some of the staff smoking between serving food. The only toilet in the mobile home had no wash hand basin, the nearest one being the kitchen sink. There website also states they have beach access, which is untrue, a lane way leaves you on to a road with a ten minute walk to the beach. There are far nicer campsite for the cost of this one.

Dear sir, We turn the music off at midnight... We are sorry if something bad happened at the bar with the staff. The pedestrian access is a solution to go more quickly to the beach, not a direct access. It's what we explained you at your arrival. From this access, there is 800m to go the beach. We hope to see you for a next stay and to give you a best memory. Regards.

We visited here in August 2017 as a family of 4, whilst doing some research online for campsites we found this one to be just perfect for us and it was just that. Our camping pitch was perfect, we had a T5 campervan with a 5 man tent and a gazebo and still had loads of space around us. Where we were situated was great near to the toilet block and the kids had the space just behind us, on a sand field to go and play and run around. The pool area and bar/takeaway was great too everything you need on your doorstep! Reception staff were lovely although French they all spoke great English which helped for us :-) The pool area was fab, we all enjoyed it although reception for wifi isnt great, and no where near enough sunbeds, we were left around waiting unless you turned up very early, lots of hoggers! We as a family would defo go back, but we as a family struggled with the toilets being shut down at such an early time, especially in the month of August when it is classed as one of the most busiest times of the year! Especially if your a lady it is very inconvienent! When your camping with no toilet facilities! Overall we would visit again, but the toilets were a massive issue for us as a family, and we have never experienced a closure of toilet facilities in the whole of France since we have been visiting before.

We stayed here for a week in mid August Vendee is a particular favourite of ours as you can nearly always guarantee the weather and its not an overlong drive from the ferry at Roscoff (about 4 hours). The site is pretty much on a par with all of the others we have stayed at over the years (swimming pools, slides and clubhouse/restaurant), Chalets were modern and clean with a TV, shower and usual cooking facilities. The English spoken by the staff here put my French to shame and they proved very helpful with everything from recommending a Tyre supplier (puncture on the way down) to informing us of local events. The Beach, supermarket and local shopping area/market place is about a 15 minute walk away, we tried a couple of the restaurants here and were very impressed. Overall, we had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend the site to anybody looking for a reasonably priced family holiday.
