This site was quite empty as low season but the staff were very helpful and supplied maps of the town and what bus to catch in the end we drove in and as it was a Monday morning the car park was. Free until 1330 so had a look round then lunch. The pitches were on the small size but...

Good camp site just off the motorway. Arrived around 6.00pm and were greeted by pleasant staff. Were directed to our plot which did not see to have a sign post. Finally located via the helpful map and noted our friends were next door. It took a while to work the plot sizes out but we managed it in the end....

Parc des Cygnes is a camping site on the northern edge of Amiens but still within cycling distance of the City centre - along the canal. The team (mostly Emilie and Alban) helped organise trips for our Rally of 32 people including trouble shooting when one nearly went wrong. The site has a small bar and restaurant serving a basic...

Due to issues with the Channel Tunnel we were severely delayed in our crossing. We phoned ahead explained our predicament and obtained confirmation that we would still be able to access the site. True to their word when we arrived just before midnight we were able to rouse the night watchman who explained where the facilities were and then disappeared...

The site has a good location just 3 miles from the centre of Amiens. It is located by a local park and surrounded by lakes and a river. This can mean there are a few midges about! Welcome was good, particularly as we arrived early but this didn't pose a problem,we pitched straight away. There was always an English speaking person...

We stayed for one night on our journey south from Calais. For this, it was convenient and offered value for money. Definitely wouldn't have wanted to stay here for much longer though - the shower block was adequate and the pitch was OK, but the site had a bit of a lacklustre feel about it.

This is a really well located site for visiting Amiens and it's the only show in town really. It's nicely set in amongst lakes with wide pitches fanning around the site. They have problems with moles and rabbits which makes the ground a bit patchy in parts. There are not enough electric points for the pitches so it would be...

Touring France 2 up by motorcycle, without a real plan, this campsite fitted in perfectly as a stop off. The facilities are good and the rates are reasonable. There is the caravan area with electric hookup and a camping area for tents. It was fairly peaceful for being a city site and there was wildlife on the campsite too -...

This site is certainly handy for Amiens, which is well worth a visit for its amazing cathedral and pleasant 'little Venice' quarter. Having said that, the much-vaunted 'lakes' turned out to be little more than puddles of near-stagnant water when we visited at the height of the season. To compound our disappointment, there were few if any marked pitches -...

We wondered what this site was going to be like, being sited in quite an urbanised setting, but its lovely! The caravan pitches are large, sunny, level and easily accessible, and the site is well hidden from the road. The guy on reception speaks good English and is very helpful. The site adjoins a charming little park with a lake...
