Only stayed one night. Bizarre quirky hotel with very unusual decor. A bit tired in appearance and needed better towels and softer toilet paper. Comfortable enough for the price. Very friendly staff. Great location. Pillows too lumpy

Hotel is conveniently located near the ferry and the square but the room is quite sparse and unwelcoming and the pillow was a long hard rolled up piece of foam while the bed was like a wooden board. Very uncomfortable. Hardly slept at all. Breakfast good. Strange hotel - host was unfriendly. Happy to stay just one night.

A stark room, but all the necessities. Character building and interesting decor. It was an excellent bargain. The fellow at the front desk was very helpful and recommended a good (albeit expensive) place to eat. I would return if I'm ever stranded by the horrible Dover-Calais ferry service. The TV/cable was patchy and became annoying to watch as it would... More

This hotel is located in a great place . Just 5 mins from the ferry and just a short walk from the centre which is full of bars and restaurants. The room was very basic but comfy. Was ideal as we only really used it as a base to go and watch football in lens . Railway station is near... More

Overnight stop in Calais France. We had a problem in Calais, and had to find a hotel fairly quickly as were all very tired after a long trip from Hamburg. We searched for a hotel and came across this one, Hotel Victoria. We asked if they had a room for 3 adults plus our small doggie. There are no tea... More

We used this hotel twice overnight. Once on our way to Paris and on the way back home 4 days later. The hotel is basic but family run and very friendly. There is no tea making facilities in the room but this did not matter as we were only using the hotel for an overnight stopover. On the way down... More

The receptionists are very helpful and can speak English. The breakfast is awesome. It is close to both the centre and the ferry. We stayed on the second floor and had a lovely view from our window. I think this place is worth the money.

Stayed here several times. It's had a revamp on reception. The rooms are clean, a bit dated but typically "French". It's literally 10 mins drive from the ferry. Local for restaurants and bars. It's a quiet area, always ft safe and car can be parked outside. Owners speak English and are friendly and helpful. Didn't have breakfast this time, went... More

I have visited and reviewed many hotels and on the whole these have been positive but for the first time ever I would say dont waste money staying here. It is very run down, we had a ground floor room that had a chipboard headboard! The shower was attached to taps in bath but you had to hold it over... More

This hotel is within walking distance of the ferry terminal, railway station and the town centre. It is very basic, but spotlessly clean and I had no complaints about the bed. If you're stuck for somewhere to stay and on foot it's a lifesaver. The receptionist / manager speaks reasonably good English and gets the job done. If you speak... More
