This hotel is very basic. No comfort at all. Beds are solid! You get one flat pillow and unable to have more. Bathrooms again are very basic with dispenser for shower gel. Very old and required attention to the corners where limescale and mould was. Felt safe as there was around 50 french police staying in the hotel for training....

A very cheap hotel suitable as a one night stop over. Rooms are clean but drab and the shower cubicles toilets en suite need a good steam clean. Sweet on your pillow is a nice touch but a bit out of place. Great out of hours site access by PIN in your booking. Worked well. Reception staff have very little...

First time here and may not be the last if they fix the drains. Its a great location, close to the port took about 5mins to find it after disembarking from the ferry and using Sat Nav. After a trying 7 plus hrs to dover and then catching a ferry it was a relief to find a bed and shower...

We were put up in this 'nice hotel' by the insurance company after a blow out on the motorway on a Sunday. To call it basic is an insult to the Budget Hotels, as it is as I can only describe it as more like a Detention Centre. There were around 20 armed Gendarmes smoking in the doorway of the...

It's a basic place with very small rooms. Too loudly. You can hear the conversation from the next room. There is no remote control fot the tv. The receptionist wasn't very polite. This is no 2 star hotel, may be 1 or hostel.

very basic accommodation. Not the cleanest. Had booked 2 rooms for family of 4. Thought I had been bitten by a mosquito but on turning back the beds discovered them crawling with bed bugs! Called the emergency number at the desk and a horrified member of staff turned up and gave us another room. Children's room seemed insect free as...

I was a little disappointed in how basic this hotel was. The rooms are quite small, and there is virtually no sound-proofing between rooms. Since it is very much a transit hotel, with guests arriving and leaving at all hours, it is thus difficult to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was pretty basic, with no hot options, not good...

After reading reviews of this hotel, I did not want to go. However after staying here for one night I do not want to leave!! The TV contains all the TV channels in the UK, and is also super easy to use. The bed is large and comfortable , in fact, I had a prefect nights sleep here!! In addition...
