This was our last stop over it seemed pleasant enough however the mooring is charged €1.30 per meter of boat overnight so for us this was €13, then there is a €3 electric charge (which is not bad) does not include water, there is also a further €10 deposit for a card for us this would have been €36 for...

Stayed at Chalets - they were grubby - BBQ broken - staff nice enough. Fast food wagon really expensive We left early and they kept our deposit as they said dishes undone - that was absolutely not the case - they said they had deleted our CC details and refused to respond further - not worth legal action for 50EUR...

We stayed on the campsite during the 100th commemoration of the battle of the Somme. I wasn't too sure what to expect but everywhere else was full..... The staff are friendly and work very hard. The bar was nice with a fast food wagon attached that served what looked like good food though we didn't try it. All in all...

We stayed on the site the first time in April this year with a group of Air Cadets doing The Somme Memorial Tour of The Battlefields'. This was our first proper experience of camping. We enjoyed the area and the facilities on the site so much that we went back over the first week of August to meet some friends...

It was a nice swimming pool and bungalow. On the website it advertises volley ball but it doesn't have volley ball and there are all the facilities that they advertise on the website. Which is very annoying as we choose this site especially for that.

This was my first camping trip with my two older children (13 & 11). On arrival at the site, the office was closed (they had informed me about the office hours) but there was a very friendly sign asking us to 'find your pitch, and check on later'! This allowed us to wander around the site and find the pitch...

This proved to be a great little site to stay. The staff went out of their way to fit us on and I had an electric hookup from Tony's residence for one night. There was a takeaway kitchen open when we stayed in June. The site is very handy for exploring the Somme region and battlefields. Our pitch was more...

Selected this site of the internet due to its location upon the Somme and within its Circuit of Remembrance. Was not disappointed. Tony the on-site manager was very friendly, helpful and could not do enough for us. Thank you Tony. The site on the most was very peaceful; a chorus constantly from wildlife and birdsong but that is something we...

We stayed there last year and we will be going again this year. It is almost mid-way between Calais and Paris and a good central place to launch day-long trips. We went to Belgium, to Paris, the West, and followed the Great War Trail. The campground is a very nice and tranquil area where kids can run around and chase...

My children [daughter aged 15 years, son aged 20] and I stayed here for a week in August 2012 using the site as a base from which to tour the World War 1 battlefields of the Somme. We rented one of the four bungalow-cabins that the site operates. Our overall impression of our cabin was that it was good if...

“By the canal for views and the bird life but be aware of the plant across the way and of the occasional working barge coming along side. The families can be loud!! Avoid the tall trees if you want sun onto your pitch.”
