We always stay in low budget hotels when we travel from UK to France. This was the first time we stayed in a premiere classe and also the last time! Wifi didn't work, shower cabin was rusted, the room smelled like people had smoked in it, the bed base was torn, there was only ONE towel in each bedroom, even... More

This is a basic, cheap motel - a bit tatty round the edges. Don't expect the normal luxuries. This is the "budget hotel of choice" for almost every builder and plumber in Picardy, and the car park is rammed with their vans. For the price of a youth hostel you get a bed with clean sheets and a tiny bathroom... More

So the room was average, as are all Premiere Classe. To be honest the bed and bathroom was as expected. The main thing that gave this a below average rating was the service. So we always planned for a late arrival (after 10pm) so we were advised to use the automatic check in machine and key distributor as we were... More

My room was more of a ships cabin. Used this as an alternative for the Ibis budget in the city center which was closed. Like I said: very small, but if you need basic accommodation you're fine here. The shower feels like a broom closet. Skipped breakfast.

Stay during a visit to the Somme as was unable to get closer to Albert. Only needed a bed for two nights and basically that is all we got. Stayed in a twin room, can I suggest that you don't stay with anyone that you are not on close terms with - getting around the very small room takes great... More

Used lots of this chain hotel, you know what you're getting, and they're easy to find in most French cities. Good for a nights sleep, shower, cheapish, and usually well kept and serviced. This one failed, it was dingy, the grounds were in poor condition, the manager was uninterested, in fact he'd locked himself in reception when we got there.

We booked this place through booking.com for our family on the way back to Calais for one night. The pictures are deceptive. Beware ! Definitely not suitable for family stays or if female. Basically we found a basic concrete gaudy yellow painted block in the middle of an industrial park, with stairwells on either side and room doors facing out.... More

Premiere Classe have pleasantly surprised us in the past so we were willing to be flexible. Arrived to find the car park full of custom Hondas and Golf Gti's the bonnets up being rev'd or being driven at high speed around the industrial estate. The fabric of the building was in poor repair, the room reeked of stale cigarette smoke... More

Booked August 2014 for Easter 2015 stay. All confirmed and received email so was feeling super relaxed. Sat nav picked it up no issues and delivered us to the door - then the problems started. It is never a good thing to be greeted at a hotel with the words "there is a problem". Turns out the hotel had ripped... More

With a room resembling a prison cell, not particularly clean and nothing like the room in the publicity photos, this was a miserable experience which we will never repeat - my husband says, if the company offered to PAY him to stay there again, he would refuse....
