Hotels of any type with indoor pools are few and far between in France. That's why it's worth coming here during the winter months when you can't swim outdoors or lie on the beach, and particularly if you like salt water pools. Thalacap is a mid-range hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of Les Saintes Maries. It has...

Why don't the staff smile? The grout was filthy, balcony very odd, could only see the sky if I sat down due to a very high wall, overflowing ashtrays used as door stops, lifeguard having a fag outside when there were several people in the pool, balcony door had a very makeshift catch and I did not feel secure. Outdoor...

Not a pretty hotel, but very well placed to explore the camargue. My initial thoughts on entering the hotel was the smell of damp. (the spa) The Indoor pool cost extra but never used it. Breakfast was very poor, not very happy whilest having breakfast most guests were in dressing gowns and flip flops ready for a day in the...

Good selection on offer. Breakfast room overlooked the sea and lovely views for breakfast. Apart from the guy on duty in the breakfast room...

I thought that this was strange experience. There's nothing sticking about the hotel but it's just very nice. It could do with some paint here and there and my bathroom had some mould above the shower. Overall it was okay but not notable. An evening snack was served to me in the entrance room as if I wasn't allowed into...

We stayed here for 3 nights during the Gypsy festival. Part of our hotel package included short spa treatments (massage, whirlpool and seaweed wraps) which were so enjoyable we added foot and head massages. With the hotel surrounded by garden and each room with its own balcony, it was quiet and secluded and yet within minutes we could enter the...

We loved that t the hotel was on the edge of town, hence quiet and yet overlooked the beach & was only a 5 minute walk (along a broad walk) to the lively town with its many restaurants & shops and of course, it's church in honor of Saint Sarah. We sat outside on the large patio with our drinks...

Very close to sea - 2 minute walk through garden and wooden gate onto seafront. Nice balcony with sea view. Light and spacious room. Comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet at night. 5 minute walk into resort centre along seafront. Town appeared quiet at night until we wondered in to old town by the church, and found some lively squares and...

The location of the hotel is perfect. Sea view from balcony and beach within 3 minutes walk. Fantastic to discover the Camargue area - very quiet! We used the hotel as a base and did lots of excursions to famous Provencal towns (Avignon, Arles, Aix). This is a spa hotel; we didn't want any treatments so we had to discuss...
