I stayed at the M3 Hotel Ferny Voltaire for two weeks (excluding weekends) for a business trip. The staff were very friendly and always very helpful. The rooms were pleasant and I enjoyed the fact that there was a little terrace and a small kitchenette. Although I did not use them they also have facilities for activities like table tennis, beach volleyball, and bowls.

We also had a meeting room that I used for working with my colleagues during my stay and it was constantly stocked with snacks and drinks. One thing that was not ideal was the lighting in the room was not good for working but the staff were very helpful in bringing us extra lights that did improve the lighting significantly.

We stayed there for 1 night en route to the Cote D‘Azur. It’s conveniently located just minutes away from the highway and also ideally located for those having to go to the Geneva airport or Palexpo (<5mins by car).
Its modern & it is clean, the rooms are spacious. Excellent value for money and orobably the best option if your are looking for a 1/2 night stay around Geneva airport.

We stayed for one night and I couldn't recommend this any more highly after the experience that I had with the staff.
Check-in was a breeze, but the best part was the service that they offered during our stay. We needed to get an antigen (Covid) test, which required us to go into Switzerland briefly but couldn't take the dog. The gentleman manager offered to look after the dog and extend our check-out to ensure that we could get everything done. He even researched the best laboratory to get the tests done and phoned them to ensure that they were available. I offered to pay for the additional service, but he said that it was his pleasure, and he genuinely meant it.
I would stay here again, without hesitation.

There is no hot water coming out at all in the family suite!!! I was traveling with a baby (had a business trip to CERN) and I was not able to bath her because of cold water. Also, the water has a disgusting color and left dirty marks on a bathtub after I drained. Other rooms were the same and the manager just said there was nothing they could do. We tried to boil some water using the electric kettle, but the electricity was out three times whenever we used the kettle and the manager needed to come and control the fuse box. A dark room and cold water at this price? Make no sense. I usually have a business trip every 1 or 2 months and have been to about 20 countries, but I never had such a bad experience!

Nice hotel with very serviceminded staf. Good pool. A bit orange. It is located close to Geneva airport and Cern but on the France site of the border, it is however easy to cross back and forth. We stay a family of four in a Room with one bed on one floor and another bed on the second floor.

From the time we entered until the time we left, we were greeted by a friendly staff who spoke both English and French. The two-story family room with a spiral staircase was the best room! There was plenty of space for us to spread out and the beds were comfortable. I recommend this hotel to anyone flying out of the Geneva airport. It’s a very close proximity and it’s in a cute town where you could walk to a café or restaurant within a quarter mile.

Really fantastic hotel. We needed a room for the night near the hotel and were delighted to have discovered this place. Staff were brilliant and helped us plan a route into Geneva and gave us tips on what to do and see. The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean and having the kitchenette was a God send. Perfect for our family who wanted to cook a simple meal (there are communal kitchens with ovens too which was great!).

Our only issue was that the mezzanine area where my husband and I were due to sleep was so unbearably hot that we had to share the sofa bed with our son. Thankfully the sofa bed was large and super comfy but not ideal that we couldn’t use the mezzanine ( which is a really fantastic space with huge comfy bed). When we told the staff on the morning they said they were going to adjust the AC settings so the room was cooler (this had to be done centrally, not something we could control from our room)

Overall we were so impressed with this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. If you need somewhere near the airport, look no further!

I stayed in this hotel many nights over the last year and it never disappointed me. Clean and confortable. The only negative point is that maybe the limited buffet choice and it's a bit expensive (18€) but for the rest is the best value for money in the Geneva region.

I needed a hotel for one night, as my friends were picking up the next day to head to the ski resort.
I took the 66 bus from the airport that drop me off six minutes away from the hotel. 45 min bus fr Geneva city centre. Lots of construction in the area.

Pleasant hotel, lovely common area, very modern . The room has a kitchenette, which I found pleasantly surprising as I got to make tea and porridge in the morning.
The toilet room is separate from the shower room, but that's OK, very spacious, and would love to stay there again .

Avoid during this period (or forever). Understaffed with the front desk person (only one for each shift) tasked with all duties: check-in, bartending, technician and so on so forth…booked as we were visiting CERN for convenience. Excuse: People on vacation! I mean how can staff go on vacation, in one of the busiest cities in the world (all year long), and not be replaced? You feel the hotel managers were surprised by its sudden popularity and felt one person was enough during this time... The hotel looked to have potential but is so mismanaged it makes you feel to be either in the midst of a candid camera setup or a 1 star motel somewhere between El Paso and Juarez. You feel the lack of professionalism in cleaning as soon as you step into the lobby of buildings 2 and 3. The floor is unclean every day (we stayed 4 nights). Then we got to our room (junior suite) which had a decent setup (and a/c) but was partially clean and with filthy bed sheets. Ernesto at the desk was quick to act and upgraded us so we thought that our problems were solved…not with cleaning! You feel they went rogue on management as we were assured they were told to clean well, yet, we missed us one day and kept on coming around their end of duty every day resulting in superficial cleaning, leaving spots, not replacing cups, coffee, etc... Technical matters were on a different level (safe, phone, hair-dryer all not operational), and technicians are also, guess what, not available! And who else but Ernesto to the rescue? At night, I went to the bar: CLOSED! Why? On vacation again! Ernesto (who else) volunteered to serve us…finally be careful not all room are air conditioned, check it before hand, ours had none and we were lucky it was pleasant at night or else I couldn’t have slept. Didn’t report that one as I had accepted the initial change and didn’t pay attention to it. My main concern being of course cleanliness. Finally, about the location, it is convenient only if you have a car. Although public transport is close it is so much consuming and uber in this area is not reliable. Beware of construction adjacent to the hotel, rooms are soundproof but if you have to open the windows or sitting by the pool, you will be bothered. Somme toute: A bad experience!

We stayed here (nice hotel and nice small restaurants !!) night before departing but also had a rental car to return at French Zone rental agent - you can ONLY pass from french to Swiss zone where MOST flights depart with a SAME Calendar DAY Valid boarding pass !! Due to construction and AM rush hour traffic In this area, it may take an hour by any means just to the airport (either Zone side). In rush hour, the Train from airport into center of Geneva is Best But be aware, train (and all buses AND taxis) are ALL located in the SWISS zone. DONT go to french zone entrance of airport unless you are flying out !!!! For the person who asked the question- take Uber, taxi or bus ( if there is one) to Swiss zone airport entrance And then the train ( well marked, frequent and quick) to Geneva center. For more info CALL the hotel.
