We booked this accommodation as a late ski trip and there were no other hotel/apt choices available. It was far more basic than I expected. The accommodation is old and rundown. Wifi is only available in the reception/lounge area (free). You need to make your own beds up, take your own cleaning things (nothing is provided) and you need to... More

Unfortunately my husband booked the holiday on internet and booked us in by mistake instead of Pierre and Vacances. On arrival I could see that this hotel was not suitable for our family ski holiday. The bedroom stunk of cannabis. There was no way that I could have stayed there the bathroom and toilet was dirty and the room very... More

Where do I start!! Absolutely shocking customer service, not enough staff on the front desk, that's when it's open. Dropped off after out transfer with neilsons, to a closed reception desk. Had to wait an hour for it to open then queued a further hour to what we thought was checking. Too deposit from credit card then added we couldn't... More

We arrived at our hotel in the early hours of the morning due to a delay on the coach. When we arrived we were greeted by a pitch black reception (the reception itself had closed) and 3 reps in the corner taking deposits and giving out room keys. The room did not have any bedding or towels, when this was... More

I stayed at the hotel for a week. Midway through my stay I returned to my room from a mornings skiing and realised my (3 month old fully functioning) iPad Air had gone missing. I reported this to reception and they mentioned they had seen a cleaner with an iPad but nothing had been handed in yet, so was advised... More

Apart from its undeniably good location for skiing, this hotel is a terrible choice for anyone looking to ski in Alpe D'huez. - The furniture and rooms aren't very uncomfortable - They think they can fine people for talking in their rooms, tried to charge some rooms over 300 euros for talking. - Terrible translation skills - Staff unwilling and... The Bergers Belambra is very different from the way it was presented in the Crystal brochure, which described it as "well-equipped and comfortable accommodation"; it was neither. The toilet cubicle was so small that I regularly banged my head just turning round (and I'm only 5' 9"). The "kitchen" was so small that two people couldn't occupy it at the... More

Visit here with a university ski trip. They had security staff patrolling and listening in to the rooms to extort the students for fines. The security were like a mafia claiming there was noise when there was none. The walls are paper thin and therefore you are not even allowed to talk in your rooms after 10pm or they slam... More

The rooms in this residence look like in early 90's Eastern Europe. The standard is low. The corridors are dirty. The carpets in the corridors - disgusting. The elevators - old. The ski room - old, ugly and cold. Bathrooms - old and disgusting - the kind of uncleanable dirt is everywhere. One heater in the room and one in... More
