Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at Ski La Cote in March 2013 with a group of friends. We were met at the airport by Adrian who transported us to the chalet. The chalet is beautiful and in a great location. It was immaculately clean. Adrian was very helpful, and sorted everything from organsising ski hire, taking us to the ski slopes and booking us tables at restaurants. He also provided ski lessons for the beginners of the group. We had a fab holiday and cannot wait to return.

We had a really good stay. The food was superb, the accommodation excellent and the welcome we received was friendly. Adrian, Richard, Sarah and Simon went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. I can't recommend Ski La Cote enough.

We were an extended family group of three generations plus friends, and filled the entire chalet for a week while we combined a summer business conference in Lausanne with a relaxing family vacation. The surrounding area was beautiful, and offered wonderful sightseeing only short drives away, and the village was pleasant and quiet, with several excellent restaurants and hiking trails through the woods to a lovely hidden Alpine lake. The chalet itself was a delight. Adrian Chadbourn, the owner, was very friendly and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible (even offering free laundry services!). Our group filled the entire chalet, and yet we did not feel crowded; the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and were very clean. The large kitchen/dining room was a perfect gathering spot for our group, and we found the living room and balcony also nice gathering spots. We would definitely stay at Chalet la Cote if our travels bring us to the Alps again.

Great place, very homely. Adrians a star!! The food was out of this world, wine flowed, even the skiing was brilliant, returning for another dose over the New year 10/11.

This is my fourth visit to this beautiful chalet in the most amazing setting.
I have not been in winter as I prefer the summer time. I had a lovely room on suite. On hot summer days you can lay by the pool and enjoy the view.
The chalet is spotless, food and wine excellent and the service was first class.
We had lovely boat trips on the Geneva lake.
The walks are beautiful. There is so much to do.
Very good restaurants, one gets spoit for choice.
I hope I will be going again in summer.

The chalet is like something from your imagination..absolutely beautiful. The peace of the surrounding mountain and views give you a feeling of well being. We challenged any host with our children and extended family of all ages, and we were not dissappointed...all our little extra 'needs' were met with charm and willingness...the food was a highlight of each day (and the wine which flowed well). The Landrovers were a blessing ferrying 'all' to different places to suit our standards...the snow walking in the fabulous deep snow was wonderful ...snow man building..you name it we did it ..have not been to a better place...so warm and cosy

From the beginning to the end we experienced a fantastic hospitality which you can expect from a chalet. The cosy atmosphare and the very friendly, hospitable and helpful staff made our holiday unforgetable in the chalet as well as on the slopes.
We were looked after ensuring privicy when it was needed.
The atmosphare of this 18th century old savoyard chalet combined with the nightlife in the village as well as the biggest international linked ski area gave us a very pleasurable holiday.

we arrived at Geneva airport where the staff where waiting to transfer us to the chalet taking around 90 minutes this chalet, transport is also provided during the stay to the ski lifts just 10 minutes away,
On arrival we where shown to our room which was Spacious with a view looking over the valley.
During our stay the staff were friendly and the food was good.
After a days skiing we had afternoon tea and relaxed around the open fire.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

This ski chalet is run down with dusty old ragged furniture and an all pervasive smell of fuel oil as the decrepit boiler fires up in the evening. The host lives on site in a small 'nest' upstairs. You feel as if you are invading his house especially when his friends come to stay taking over the chalet. The atmosphere can be rather fraught when 'associates' decide to order the domestic staff to do their bidding. Ski la cote needs a full refurbishment and a professional manager. The owner needs to do what he does best and that's teach people to ski. On that point he is superb.
