11 of us stayed at Le Pied Moutet for a week of skiing for my 40th birthday. We chose the hotel for the location, the price and the positive reviews and it didn't let us down. The waiter, Sultan and the chef went far beyond the call of duty to make our stay special. They accommodated our special requests as... More

Pied Moutet is located just minutes walk from the fast 6 man Diable chair which takes you up to the main Cretes ski area. It is a budget hotel with great half board option. Staff are great, free wifi, free pool table, free sauna, boot room, and communal bar and lounge area. Plenty of food so haven't been hungry all... More

The staff is nice and helpful. The food is superb! Really, it makes up for everything else. It can be categorized as fine dining. The rooms are basic, there is one wall socket per room and it makes a real logistical challenge to keep all your devices charged.

We stayed in this hotel for one week in our winter holyday and was expecting an 2 star hotel. We were surpriced by an very nice and charming staff that always wanted to do their best for us. Breakfast and dinner was better then expected. Rom was so-and-so, like a 2 star. After a long day in the slopes it... More

Food is good, staff is very friendly and keen to please the guests. The rooms are small, as well as the showers and the whole thing would require a full refurbishment even though there is some small progress every year. Nevertheless it is clean and the atmosphere is good. Don't expect Hilton for that much money.

I had pretty low expectations of this basic accommodation but if you can stay somewhere else do!! The rooms are small with limited space to put anything - no bedside cabinets and tiny wardrobe. The beds are not comfy & there's no mattress covers (yuk). The ensuite bathrooms are mouldy and so so tiny. I didn't realise they made showers... More

We stayed here in late summer, and I have to say the location is awful as the town was pretty closed for business by this stage, and any action is happening the other end of town, so we felt pretty isolated, but with six of us staying it was not a problem. The owners were very nice, I can't complain... More

Dear Hannah, We are more then happy to inform You that we have recently finished renewing our hotel. Lamps, curtains, bed linen, carpets are all new and give a much more friendlier athmosphere into the rooms, corridors and the restaurant. You find the new images of our hotel in the photoalbum. Stayed here while on business. Location is handy, on the Place de Venosc, less than 5 mins walk to the new Diable chair lift. Hotel is very basic 2*, could do with a lick of paint in the bedrooms as it's rather grubby. Shower cubicle had black mould in the grout/seal. Breakfast was a small buffet with fresh pastries and... We spent here one week, skiing in "Les deux alpes". WE had a lovely experience, the owners were always trying to satisfy every need we may have, always asking is everything is in order. The rooms were very nice, the cleaning was done every day, and the sheets were changed every two days. They were not very begin, but more... More
