Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fabulous stay with friends of 9. Nikki and Andy were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble and we were looked after to perfection. The food and presentation was a joy to us each day after returning from the slopes! We had dietary requirements within the party which was catered for with such attention to detail and the selection of choices for them was brilliant. Had a fabulous time - thank you Nikki, Andy, Dee and Joss.

Such a special trip in a beautiful location. The chalet is absolutely stunning, well equipped especially for a 6 month old baby! We were very looked after by the loveliest hosts, Niki and Andy. We have made friends for life. We couldn’t have felt more welcomed and the food was so so delicious. Looking to book the next trip asap.

Where to start… Chalet Brio was the perfect home for our week away with family and friends. We had ages from pre crawling to the over 60’s and we could not have been more comfortable and happy with our stay. The absolute stars of this place I have to say are Niki & Andy, it was very clear these guys both love what they do and it shows through every bite you take throughout every meal. It was incredible to have chalet hosts with the world of experience they both have. Beyond food was great company, we had endless great chats and even enjoyed time outside the chalet together. Without doubt we will be staying in touch with Niki & Andy to make sure we can get another visit in asap. Well played Chalet Brio, you nailed it.

Exceptional chalet and hosts. Our stay was made so special by the wonderful hosts and outstanding food. Nothing was too much trouble and the chalet had everything we needed & more. We came back from the ski slopes to homemade cakes/ biscuits each day . We were dropped off in the morning and collected late afternoon by Andy or Joss( depending on days) . Just fantastic x

Brilliant chalet, hosts and owners who went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay, even though the snow conditions were somewhat challenging. The first week in January was unseasonably warm, so there wasn't any snow in the Samoens & Morillon area. We travelled up to Flaine each day (1 hr 15 mins away) to ski as this was still open due to the higher altitude. The chalet was perfect for our needs (3 families), well equipped and very clean. The hosts, Nikki and Andy were brilliant - Nikki was so lovely and so considerate and Andy's catering skills were exceptional - the evening meals were so tasty (thai fish curry, pork and the sticky toffee pudding were particular favourites), just the right size portions and there was different wines each evening to compliment the main course. Tasty cake provided in the afternoon, which was great after a day on the slopes. We used 'Ski Higher' for our equipment hire and it was a simple and efficient process & they fitted us out in the spacious boot room at Chalet Brio. We will return in the future as we enjoyed it so much.

Wow. What a week. We were a group of 12 friends with young children 6/12/12. From the moment of booking with Joss & Dee we were kept informed and they were super helpful in the whole process of booking transfers, ski school, ski hire. We arrived to dinner already getting prepared, wine waiting on the table, and such a warm and friendly welcome from the chalet hosts Andy & Nikki. The chalet is so beautiful, picturesque, clean and tidy, and well thought out. The sauna is lovely, and hot tub great for resting tired legs at the end of a day on the slopes. Andy is on hand for trips to and from the slopes, and is a brilliant chef cooking delicious meals. Nikki is a wonderful host, professional and friendly, and so wonderful with the children, my 2 girls adored her. They went above and beyond for a birthday we had whilst out there, getting Prosecco in and Dee baking a birthday cake. We had a great time, so many wonderful memories made in the chalet and also on the slopes. We would not hesitate to book again at chalet brio, all in all a wonderful week. Thank you Joss, Dee, Nikki & Andy

Contact through the booking with Dee and Joss was excellent. Once arrived Niki (host) and Andy (chef and driver) made us so welcome. Superb four course meals for dinner, super breakfasts and great service (great cakes post skiing too!). Plenty of flexibility to do your own thing but you always knew there was help there if you needed it. Post ski hot tub was very much appreciated and the honesty bar makes life so easy with plenty of selection of drinks to help yourself to. So easy to get to from Geneva so is perfect for a short break/weekend. A local shop will also deliver skiing equipment to the chalet for you if you need to!!

Our first visit was so enjoyable and the food so good last time that we booked for a second trip here and it was even better! Onwers Joss and Dee are lovely people and nothing was too much trouble when it came to making sure we had a great stay. Chalet hosts Andrew and Niki are lovely people. They were very friendly and helpful and their cooking meant the food was even better than last time, the varied menu was filled with excellent and very tasty food - definitely a HUGE plus point! Hire skis were delivered to and fitted at the chalet, and issues were easily resolved by a quick trip down to the shop in the chalet minibus. The ski/boot room was spacious and the heater meant boots were lovely and warm and easy to fit. The minibus service to / from the lift of your choice was especially useful as it allowed us to choose to start from a different place each day depending on what lifts were running, and to then finish at the location of our choice. The hot tub is great, and the sauna excellent for relaxing tired muscles - I didn't feel the need to use the gym or climbing wall! There's a table football, and at least 3 TVs with access to DVDs, a Nintendo Wii and various streaming services. There's fast wifi through the chalet if you prefer to use your own device too.

Fabulous catered chalet in a stunning setting. Made extra special by the welcoming and experienced hosts and the extra benefit of Robert’s wonderful ski guiding and company. The food our host’s Andy and Niki served was delicious and plentiful, and they were also delightful and professional company. Always happy to help with any requests and getting us to and from the lifts. Thank you to everyone at Chalet Brio for your attention to detail and personal service!

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Chalet Brio with a group of 3 families . On the day of arrival we were informed that most of the Grand Massif ski resort had closed due to the unseasonal mild weather. This obviously was a big shock to all members of the group but Joss went above and beyond to provide many options to keep us busy during our week. We decided we would take the option to travel to the only resort within the Grand Massif area that was still open, this turned out to be the right decision to allow everyone to enjoy the skiing. Joss and Denee made this possible and we are forever grateful. The chalet was well equipped and catered for all ages with the gym and climbing wall and sauna, were an added bonus. The bedrooms were clean and tidy and the dining area was a joy to sit, looking out of the panoramic views of the mountains. Andy and Niki, our hosts, were amazing. The food, wine, stories and hospitality were of the highest praise and we are very lucky to have these two top class hosts for our week. We wouldn’t hesitate to go to Chalet Brio again and would highly recommend ..
