This was our first holiday with Club Med and I honestly can't praise it enough!
We visited Saturday to Saturday which meant we were met with a private transfer at Geneva Airport as we were the only ones arriving at this time. Our driver was so lovely and helpful and the drive was really smooth.
The hotel is fantastic, new but with an alpine feel. Check is was easy and our interconnecting rooms were perfect. Plenty of space for a family of 4.
The locker room was great with heated lockers and coffee/tea/water readily available at all times. In the morning the GOs were handing out drinks, sweets and shots of Genepi to help start you day.
The children went off to their lessons through kids club where they stored their equipment. Adult lessons set off from just outside the locker room and the nearest lift was just a few metres away.
The daily Ski Return was fab, we enjoyed drinks and snacks in the lounge on snowy days.
The food was fantastic. Everything we ate was delicious and so many stations cooked the food in front of you. Puddings were also fab.
The evening entertainment was fun and so well done. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. They worked so hard, greeting us at breakfast and kids club first thing to dancing in to the night each evening. It was lovely to see the managers regularly, stopping for a chat and joining in with some of the performances.
My children (10 and 12) had fallen out of love with skiing but this holiday reignited that for them. We can't wait to book again.

We are ClubMed regulars, and this resort is every bit good as the other 3 we’ve visited; with all the usual suspects including live bands/dj’s, excellent child care, amazing food and a great environment.
Whilst these are expensive holidays, they are really good VFM. We had a couple aperol spritz each day (which are 20 euros each on the mountain!?!) an apres ski cocktail/beer and wine at dinner, and ate our fill of high quality food!
The lift pass given covers Tignes and Val d’isere, which off so much choice for skiing at all levels. Kids really progressed with their lessons and fun with us in the afternoons.
There’s 1 chairlift on the doorstep, with 2 more and a funicular within a 3-5 min walk.
The resort is on the edge of the village, which is handy, you wish to go out (none of the others we’ve been to have been anywhere near another shop or bar):
Thanks again to ClubMed. We will be visiting Gregolamino in August and be back to ski next year.

The resort itself is brand new and the service does make the difference. Location wise is just perfect with genuine ski in/ski out.
The service regarding the exclusive location rooms is truly outstanding and you can see that they make an effort for your convenience.
I really recommend if you are travelling with your family, specially with kids.
Heila, Margaux and all the team at Exclusive Collection deserves a nominal reference.

It is not our first time but I don’t think we will come again. The skiing experience is great. Teachers are nice, experienced and great. Skiing facility are great.
The hotel is 4 star and very clean, though u can see it is in big use as painting works are being carried out plus constant leaks in the restaurant and we also had a problem with it in our shower room which was not fixed during the week.
We could not use the shower as the temp was either too hot or cold, so we had to take a shower in kids room. Ceiling was damaged and didnot add beauty to our executive room.
Food choice looks varied but in fact pretty much the same the whole week plus chefs could not cook meat or fish, was decent 3 star experience not 4 star.
Swimming is great and saunas are nice. Though I wish there were swim nappies for little kids and stuff used their judgement better on deciding whom to allow in the hot tub. They didnot allow my 11 y o with me, but later in the afternoon 2 families with small kids were allowed to be there which ended in a nasty situation when child defecated there and hot tub had to be closed.
All this ruined our stay and not sure whether we will come back.

Dear Julialondon30, First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing Club Med Tignes for your recent vacation. We are sorry to see that our services were not to your complete satisfaction. Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed comments on your recent visit to Club Med Tignes. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the skiing experience, the quality of the teachers and the ski facilities. However, we are sincerely sorry to learn that some aspects of your stay fell below your expectations, and we take these concerns very seriously. Firstly, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the ongoing painting work, leaks in the restaurant and shower room issues. If you have noticed any malfunctions, rest assured that these are not representative of the quality of service that Club Med strives to offer to its G.M. We regret to learn that you did not enjoy discovering the dishes prepared by our chefs. Know that they do everything they can every day to offer you varied and quality meals. The hot tub access situation is also concerning, and we understand how this may have affected your stay. We will review and strengthen our policies to ensure a fair and comfortable experience for all of our guests, particularly regarding access to facilities. We deeply regret that these problems spoiled your stay, and we understand your hesitation about a possible return. We hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust in the future by taking immediate action to resolve these issues and improve our services. Thank you for informing us of your experience, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again to offer you an experience more in line with your expectations. Amélie, The Club Med Team

People make things work and the staff I met here were amazing, from Salvo at the bar making the best cocktails to Ragab who ensured the best atmosphere in the hotel and plenty of others I’ve interacted with during my week there.
Any issues or questions I had were dealt with quickly and in a friendly manner.
Food was ok, I would recommend the gourmet restaurant for lunches. Desserts were always great.
Evening shows were entertaining and the team made the dancing afterwards enticing for everyone to join.
Hotel itself is new so it’s quite good but the rooms can get a bit stuffy during the night.
Swimming pool was a bit cold for my liking so I used the sauna/hammam more.
Location is great, next to the ski lifts and about 5-10 mins walk from bars/clubs/shops.
Transfer to/from the airport was well organised with pretty much no waiting time.
Instructor was friendly and took us where we wanted to go, we had a smaller group of 7 people with a similar skill level.

Very poor customer service throughout our stay. Reception unable to help with most things, sending you to other places often incorrect, resulting in going from one place to another.
A la carte restaurant food was very poor. Waiter poured hot fondue on our child, no apology from waiter or manager who we sort out and had to argue a lot to get them to wash her clothes which were covered in it. Reception also unable to help booking the a la carte restaurant.
Thought we had pre booked spa treatments online (20% off) which we were then told had not worked and had to rebook and no discount was applied after asking.
Not advised that automatic checkout wasnt working. No one asked on checkout if we had had a nice stay.
ESF ski school was average, on the last day daughters instructor tried to tell us she wasn’t in her group although she had been in the group all week!
Boot warmers did not appear to have been on a few nights resulting in wet ski boots.
Buffet was reasonably good quality with lots of choice fr everyone however gluten free offerings were not good. Rooms comfortable, good size and good storage but far too hot. Generally communal areas kept clean even in busy periods. Kids club and teen club worked well, made it easy to get them out to ski school. Excellent location and ski area and great facilities eg pool, fitness suite, spa.

Been to a number of Club Med hotels and always had a good time but this one didn't quite get there for me.

Positives
Lovely hotel and very clean
Friendly staff across all departments
Love the fact that it's all inclusive for lessons and lift pass
Great spa facilities (pool could be a bit warmer)
Within walking distance of Le Lac
Ski bus stops outside if you want to go to other ski areas
Great alternative activities available in the area

Negatives
Disorganised at times especially at check in
Food was always luke warm/cold
Children running riot everywhere - no parents taking control so the noise levels were through the roof, children in gangs running up and down the corridors slamming doors at all times of the day/night, unsupervised at meal times which meant food hygiene wasn't great (fingers over all food and a kid dipping his chicken nuggets in the sauce at the servery as he was eating them).
On the first night we asked if we could reserve a table for our party of 9 and we were told that we couldn't as its for 10 and above. Every night there were reserved tables for parties of 2, 6, 8 etc. Very annoying!
We asked for a quieter table away from children (if possible) and I was very rudely told several times that it was a family friendly hotel. I was making light of the situation. We did notice a cordoned off area with adults only but we couldn't use it (no explanation given).
There are no adults only areas at the hotel. There has always been an option at other Club Med hotels. I'm not anti-children but a bit of respite would have been good.
Not ski in ski out
Entertainment was ok and the staff work hard
The late night music was not varied enough to suit all tastes. The dance area was full of staff and not very many guests!

Dear Straighttalking1, First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing Club Med Tignes for your recent vacation. We would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Your feedback is valuable because it helps us identify areas where we need to improve in order to offer our G.Ms the best possible experience. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed many aspects of your stay, including our beautiful hotel, our spa facilities and the variety of activities available in the area. Your satisfaction with the cleanliness of our facility as well as the friendliness of our staff in all departments encourages us to maintain our high standards. However, we are sincerely sorry to learn that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We note your concerns regarding the temperature of meals, the noise level caused by unsupervised children and the problems encountered during your table reservation requests. We understand that your desire for tranquility while dining has not been fully satisfied, and we are aware of the importance of providing spaces where each of our guests can fully enjoy their dining experience. Your comments regarding late-night music and the adults-only area are also noted and will be taken into consideration in our continuous improvement efforts. We would like to assure you that we take your feedback seriously and are actively working to implement corrective measures to prevent situations like this from occurring in the future. We want to maintain your trust and help you rediscover the values of Club Med during your next stay. Looking forward to welcoming you again. Amelie, The Club Med Team

Fantastically well run property. Everything is carefully planned. The food is great! The skiing arrangements are great! Great service at all levels. The only improvement I would recommend is to put air fresheners in the toilet section of the room since there is no ventilation (unfortunately separated from the main bathroom where the faucets and shower are) and to improve the way the water runs from the showers / sinks since there are spill offs on to the floor.

Overall we had a lovely stay. The hotel was well located with great facilities the staff & service was excellent & the atmosphere was fab. Unfortunately, we had a few issues. firstly in the room the toilet in one of our rooms had a damp smell which we lived with & was OK if we wedged the door open. If I'm being picky the bed sheets weren't great quality & felt rough which isn't something I'd expect for 4 stars. We also had an issue with hot water running out on 2 consecutive evenings although this was rectified quite quickly. The food selection, quality & presentaion was excellent, the salad bar & desserts were fantastic although unless it was freshly cooked it was often cold. Most importantly the ski school was well organised & the skiing was amazing.

My child was sick during one night of our stay. It is beyond unacceptable that a) I had to leave a vomiting 4yr old alone in the room to go to reception to get new sheets; b) despite calling down in advance the reception staff didn't have the sheets already waiting for me when I went down to collect them; c) didn't have a clean duvet forcing us to sleep without blankets; d) found it appropriate to just shrug and say 'i have no options for you, sorry.' in response to having no blankets.

This is a club for families. It is expected that there will be accidents requiring a change in bedding. To not provision for this is a complete failure. To not even apologize and endeavor to find a solution is an embarrassment.

Dear Paula B, We are deeply sorry to learn that your stay with us was disrupted by your child's illness and the inconvenience you experienced. We understand how stressful and frustrating it is to deal with such situations when traveling, especially with a sick child. You tell us of your disappointment regarding the lack of responsiveness on the part of our team during your stay and we are sorry to learn that everything has not been done to offer you the best comfort. The well-being of our G.Ms is our priority, so we will now pass on your comments to the department concerned as well as to the Village Manager so that they can take them into account. We thank you for taking the time to share your stay with us. Every comment is important because it allows us to improve and offer our G.M.s the best possible vacation.
