I had such a great time here - the amenities were simple but I had everything I needed - the shower was hot and powerful, perfect after a day in the mountains, the rooms were clean and warm and my bed was comfortable. The view from the windows were breathtaking (not all rooms have windows though) and the location was...

It's hard to find anything bad to say about the place as we had a great trip, supported by the excellent staff at the lodge. From Will the Manager to Holly and Dan, who work with him, I can't say anything but thank you for helping us get everything we wanted from our skiing/boarding trip. Right from the outset when...

Staying at Dragon Lodge was a seamless, fun and chilled experience; a tough task to achieve for a group of 22 young adults. All of us would go back in an instant and I can’t recommend this chalet enough. FOOD The chef, Dan, is extraordinarily good and I’ve been to my fair share of top restaurants. This wasn’t like going...

Thanks for the review ABakke, great to hear you and the group had a fun week at the lodge - Dan, Will & Hollie said how much they enjoyed it! Good food is of course really important to us and we certainly don't believe that if you have any special dietary requirements (from veggie/vegan diets to food intolerance or allergies...

Thank you to Will, Dan & Hollie for a great week at Dragon Lodge! The Dragon Lodge was our first family holiday staying in a catered chalet after many years booking through Esprit Ski and I can happily report back that despite the lack of snow the entire family was happy and would return to stay. The location of Dragon...

A superb week with the Dragon Lodge family. Many thanks Will, Dan, Holly & cat face for making my stay so enjoyable. Fantastic food, great camaraderie and where else could you stay and have an Olympic medalist offer to make you porridge for breakfast?* *Olympic medalist breakfast cannot be guaranteed.

Fab team of Will, Hollie & Dan make this the best place to stay in Tignes for a snowboarding holiday. Great guys, v friendly, nothing too much trouble. Felt at home immediately. Dinner and afternoon cakes excellent - Dan did his very best to accommodate all food requests and clearly loves cooking. Accommodation basic but spotlessly clean and some interesting...

The accommodation is simple, which if you read my other reviews you will know is not my usual style, but they meet all of the basics well. We didn't get there till 02:30 in the morning, but Will stayed up to help us with our bags and welcome us to the chalet. Rooms are not en-suite, but clean and warm enough. “The Lodge caters for all "shapes and sizes" of groups, couples and individuals. They have a variety of rooms to cater for the level of privacy you desire. It's worth liaising with them direct to get your best "fit".”

“If you want a bit of space and 'me time' book a mini lodge - which are individual mini chalets with two rooms upstairs, a downstairs and a fairly basic kitchenette. Try to get one of the rooms on either side of the lodge (not the middle one) although that's were we stayed. The others just have slightly better views.”
