Our fourth visit to Le Sherpa and it was just as good as ever. The food is excellent especially the buffet dessert table! Lots of choice at breakfast too. You can ski in and out directly - just a short walk in the morning up the slope to start off the day. Family invite you to a drink and canapes...

If you want a relaxing hotel, with a great atmosphere - totally recommend the Sherpa. The food was fantastic throughout, the staff are so friendly and helpful, an absolute pleasure to be a guest here. Will return in the future.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Good food. Cosy, traditional communal areas, beautifully kept, real Alpine feel. Didn't try spa but the young adults in our party loved it. My only grumble is our room could have done with better lighting.

This is an excellent choice for a holiday in Val Thorens. Our room was quite small, as is common with rooms in French ski resorts, but was adequate, and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. All the staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The cuisine was of high quality, with good choices and excellent desserts. You can ski in to...

Overall the hotel was very good, particularly the food. Wide choice at breakfast and multi courses well presented in the evening. The sweets were particularly good. Facilities where good and the staff very helpful. The rooms were a little tired with some things failing during our stay but most of these were fixed quickly. However we couldn't stop the shower...

Arrived a day late after a flight cancellation, but from the moment we got to the hotel our fortunes changed. The staff were so considerate and helpful, it made settling in so easy. Have seen lots of comments about the rooms being small but our group had 3 rooms and all were just fine. Would recommend Le Sherpa without hesitation.

What a fantastic hotel! We booked mid 2016 wanting to stop for Christmas. We looked at a number of hotels in the town and settled on Le Sherpa (based on reviews) and did not regret it for a minute. From the outset and after a long delayed transfer, we were welcomed by the warm and very friendly owners. Absolutely nothing...

First time taking the family skiing and although Val Thoren ski area can be a little intimidating if you are new to skiing, this Hotel was the perfect place to stay. A cosy retreat after a day on the slopes. Log fires, friendly and welcoming service and fantastic food. It was great and gave a very personal touch to be...

My son and I arrived on 23rd December staying for the Christmas week and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a good location with excellent views of the mountains at the top part of the town, close to some good bars and easy access down to the shops. The ski in is ok, but it's not quite ski...

We spent Christmas at hotel Sherpa in Val Thorens and really enjoyed our staying. Despite of the lack of the snow we could ski around the upper area (Val Thorens, Meribel, Courchevel, Orelle) but not reach the villages located lower than Val Thorens. My opinion is that the hotel is ski-in/ski-out (you need to take some steps made of snow...
