Le Château Clément is a charming country house with well-furnished bedrooms and suites. The welcome is excellent as the owner, Marie-Antoinette Chabot-Rojon, does all she can to make one’s stay pleasant. It is now only bed and breakfast. There are many stairs and no lift, although one room and a self-catering suite are accessible from a terrace and, if really... More

I have nothing but praise for this hotel, the rooms and the staff. I can only reiterate how enjoyable our stay was and full credit to the owner, Marie-Antoinette, for what she has done with the Chateau. We were there for 2 nights with out 2 small boys (ages 1 and 4) and it felt as though we were saying... More

It looks like the photos; superb. both outside and in. If that were not enough, then the whole experience was magical and memorable. Eric is a master wizard with food, while Marie-Antoinette is magical with people; they claim to have trained at Hanbury Manor in Herts, but i think they learnt their magic at Hogwarts; we were spellbound from the... Our room was very clean and comfortable, bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely bathroom with bath and shower. We joined with the rest... More

We happened to cross this pretty place because of bad weather and spent a night in a delightful, huge room, very nice mixture between old walls, original details and modern furniture plus equipments. We loved the warm welcome and openminded attitude of the owners who really try to make your stay pleasant and easy and we also enjoyed the dinner.... More

The chateau is situated in the tranquille region of Ardeche, close to nature, away from chaotic city life. The chateau itself is a real treature and we'd love to spend one lovely week-end there. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, providing us with the perfect introduction of the place and lots of useful tips of the nearby restaurants. The... More

Imagine you have received a personal invite from the owners to stay as a house guest at their beautifully restored and furnished chateau - imagine Chateau Clement! Not only does Marie-Antoinette welcome you into her family, her husband Eric cooks amazing meals from either home grown or local produce. They then both join you for dinner, enjoying an array of... This little known property in an undiscovered part of France is a gem. If you come for cycling, all the better. But the cuisine by the chef/owner, for us, was the highlight. Every meal was exquisite and the surroundings are breathtaking. If you come to relax, their is a magnificent pool and the rooms are modern and immaculate. Our advice... More

“The rooms are very different, the ones upstairs more antique and matching the style of the house, the two big ones on the garden level more modern (but also furnished in a warm style with linen fabrics and lots of handmade cushions). We had the green garden room and were very happy with it: huge door windows, the old tree outside seemed to be in the room, very pretty.”
