I visited the town with 2 colleagues. The location of hotel is pretty much in the center of town which gives access to any destinations you have in mind as well as any culinary experiences you plan to have. The hotel was OK--call it average, with some pluses but a few minuses as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is a nice one. The AC works slowly but does get the job done. Bathing facilities are rather traditional. Bring your own roll of tissue. Plumbing is OK. The TV is small, but I wasn't watching...

the hotel is probably one of the best in Sumenep (but the choice is limited), however the rooms are standard and the breakfast is very basic. The hotel is located 15-20 mn far from the city center. It is a quiet place.

The room that I stayed in was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Pay TV and fridge came in handy during my stay. Go for the Indonesian breakfast, it is delicious, The staff are helpfull and happy.
