Attractive appearance, good parking. Hot tub not working so I asked to be moved to a room with a working tub and was informed that once the cleaning staff got one cleaned the next day they would contact me. They didn't contact me I had to contact them. Then they claim there are no available rooms. I'm no dummy, the...

The room was very nice, with all the amenities that you could wish for. The hot tub seemed well-maintained and the hotel staff were very friendly. We felt that the hotel was a good value for the price we paid, perhaps because they are still trying to build their summer business. There was one major issue, however. On our second...

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. I am sorry to hear about your experience and can say this is not the typical experience at Firelight Lodge. We have many families that stay with us over the summer and do not experience difficulties. We will discuss your scenario with the Firelight team and improve on how this...

Location: although not in the center of the village it is only a short walk away and as a result the ambient noise outside is low. It is very close to tube town, ice skating, beginner's ski runs, Nordic & snow shoe trails and bowling. Accommodation (1 bedroom): nice clean rooms with plenty of space for a family of four....

This was the first ski vacation for our family of four, and the FirelIght Lodge was great. It is a short walk across the parking lot to the village, but you can ski directly to the Silver Queen chair. We had a two bedroom unit, with a full kitchen and a fold-out couch and fireplace. The beds were comfortable and...

Dear Jen, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are very proud of Firelight Lodge as we agree it is a great place for a family to stay with so many activities nearby. The great thing about SilverStar is the all inclusive "My1Pass" day or multi-day ticket as it includes down hill skiing, Nordic trails, snowshoeing,...

We stayed in a two bedroom unit for several nights and the unit was comfortable and well equipped for cooking meals. Inside the door there is lots of room for storing boots and coats. The bedrooms have lots of space for luggage and hanging clothes. In the master bathroom there was a small all-in-one washer/dryer which was great for small...

The property is conveniently located for restaurants, skiing and non-ski activities. We had 6 people in a 2 bedroom unit and it was only crowded when waiting for 1 bathroom. The unit was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed three nights here and enjoyed it for the most part. We'd stayed at other properties and Silverstar, this was are first time at Firelight. It's an easy ski out to the chair down the hill a bit. The ski back in is a bit tricky and requires crossing a road and a parking lot. The ski locker situation was...

Five of us shared room 406, a two bedroom with a pull out overlooking the skating pond and tube park. This is the top floor of the hotel - so the views are great and you don't have the pitter patter of feet crossing over head - this can be a problem on the other 3 floors as the rooms...

Stayed in a one bedroom executive plus hot tub. Suite was beautifully funtished and modern. Kitchen had good cookware and crockery. Hotel supplied coffee for coffee machine which was great. It was definitely worth paying extra for the private hot tub. Location was good, just a short walk to the village centre or you could ski out and acces tube...

This hotel is in a great location. Almost ski in ski out especially when snow is a plenty. We had a 2 room 2 bathroom apartment with a balcony that had a great view overlooking the ice skating pond. Large ski drying room with ample access. The hotel is a very short flat walk to village shops and restaurants.
