Perfect location for kiting. Great people (Phil and Emily) running the place, beautiful grounds, excellent beach, great beds, quiet yet still a central walking distance for restaurants, tiendas, etc. We have been here twice and in another location in La Ventana; this place is excellent.

Casa Verde met and exceeded all our expectations! Rooms are clean and cozy, Location central to beach activities and walking distance to many great restaurants. Owners, David and Alia (and family) could not have been more accommodating. Hoping to return SOON.

An emerald on the beach in La Ventana. This place is popular in the fall/winter for sail boarders, but in July it was very quiet. Monica, the care taker, made our stay very pleasant getting up to make breakfast for us at 5:30 AM and packing a lunch for us and our panga captain every day. She also cooked great...

Casa Verde isn't for everybody. My husband and I are in our 70's, and our idea of a good time is to sit out on the beach, under shade, and read our eBooks. Our son and daughter-in-law are avid kiteboarders, so they love the place too. (We watch). This is not a tourist trap. No noise, no traffic...well, unless there's...

Nice rooms, cleaned everyday, they provide good coffee, paddle boards and kayaks. Clean spacious communal area. Very friendly little dog. On the beach and positioned perfectly for kiting. If you want a party scene then this is not it but you can find that within a few yards.

Our family has stayed at 3 other beach hotels/resorts in La Ventana over the past 3 years. The Casa Verde was by far the Best!! On this trip, I came alone to relax , practice yoga, learn how to Kitesurf and SUP in the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez. I was surprised to be welcomed by such incredibly...

The first time I went to La Ventana I decided to stay at Casa Verde because they had inexpensive tipis at the time. The second time I went, it was because I loved it there so much and it felt like home (the tipis are gone now but there are several other low price options). Casa Verde has everything you...

This was my second trip to Casa Verde in La Ventana for the purpose of fishing. The accommodations at Casa Verde are second to none. I fished in September 2013 and again the last week of May 2014. Being able to be picked up right in front of the place for the days fishing can not be beat. There are...

I've been making my annual pilgrimage to La Ventana for 12 years now, and the last 9 of them have been spent at Casa Verde. I was with them when they opened their doors for their first season, and it was love at first stay. There is truly something magical about Casa Verde on so many levels. On an aesthetic...
