As our ruby wedding present we were booked in here for 2 nights. We had a premier room on the deal which included one night's dinner, breakfast each morning and a brewery tour. The hotel is impressive on first sight and got even better when we walked into our extremely spacious room (208). We had a very large bathroom complete... More

Stayed here after a wedding. The room was a standard room and very clean. The bed was not very comfortable. Not a very good view from bedroom window but friends were given a room with a great view. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice on menus cooked to order. Staff were very friendly. Worth walking to the Stables... More

We have just paid our third visit this year, something unheard of before. We are attracted to the hotel for several reasons. The receptionists are lovely and welcoming, the room we have had each time is generous in size with a good bath/shower room. Breakfast is served in the Eden Room which is spacious and very efficiently run by Suzanne,... More

Lovely two night stay. Cannot fault the staff or service but some rooms are obviously better than others. Good choice for breakfast and a pleasant change to have breakfast cooked to order rather than buffet style. Wonderful meal in the Stables restaurant, great service and enormous portions. Stayed in room 103 on the 17/11 for 3 nights. As always, a nice welcome and clean and fresh rooms. I would like to mention that Susann from the breakfast team was always smiling and couldn't do enough for us. Susann is a star and and an asset to beamish hall. Please pass on our comments to her

We booked a DB&B plus Micro Brewery tour - at an excellent price. Dinner in the Stable Restaurant was enjoyable. All staff were attentive and friendly, service was quick. Meal portions were huge and over-facing for us. The room was smokey from the fire stove. This restaurant is the onsite pub (linked to the micro brewery) . During our visit... More

A lovely hotel - lovely building with lots of original features - in beautiful grounds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice real ale brewed on site - unfortunately the beer festival was the day after we left! Good food both for dinner and breakfast. We will definitely be returning.
