At Treyarnon Bay Holidays, many guests find the picturesque setting and proximity to stunning beaches a highlight of their stay. The campsite is often commended for its well-maintained and spotless facilities, with travelers frequently praising the helpful staff. While the beautiful location and cleanliness receive high marks, some visitors find the additional costs for amenities like showers and the distance to facilities a drawback, particularly for those with young children. Despite mixed feelings about the value, the campsite's safe and simple atmosphere with touches like balcony bench tables is popular among guests.

We camped with EHU on Pitch 9 for 3 nights and were very fortunate with the weather! The site has a very relaxed atmosphere and my children (2 and 7) loved running and cycling around the field making new friends. We were slightly frustrated at someone pitching a tent immediately in front of ours, I think they were friends with another EHU tent but it meant less playing space for the first day but when they left it was much better.

The toilet and washing up block was very close which was convenient, they were cleaned regularly, the taps in the ladies were prone to getting stuck on and if users didn’t notice this they led to slight flooding on the floor. The shower block was a slightly further walk and cost £1 for 7 minutes but the water was hot with good pressure so it felt worth it.

There were two little shops a short walk from where we were pitched so we were able to top up with food, milk and pasties as needed.

Covid restrictions meant that we didn’t check in, they found our tent and did that for us when we were at the beach and the site has a hands off approach. However when I went to reception to book a pitch for next year staff were very friendly and helpful.

There are no campfires allowed which is understandable, but a slight loss of the evening atmosphere. However this did mean the site was quiet in the evenings and everyone was respectful of this.

The camping field is about a 7 minute walk to the beach and Treyarnon Bay is an absolutely stunning beach. There’s something for everyone. A stream for children to play in, rock pools of various sizes where children can swim and explore, for older kids and adults there’s the amazing sea pool and the sea itself was beautifully clear. The sunsets were heavenly.
Constantine Bay is also a short walk away and worth a visit.

Overall we loved it here, so much so that we’ve booked again next year!

We stayed on the camping field with our Motorhome. The pitch was in good order and we had an electric hookup. There are clean toilets, a roomy Pot wash, and foul waste disposal for the chemical loo. The toilets and pot wash were kept clean and tidy. The showers are a bit of a walk from the camping field and the showers were good to use @ £1 for 7 mins. The attached toilet block was not so clean, and vandalised, which was a surprise, but I doubt this was done by the campers in the camping field. There is a nice supermarket a few minutes walk away, which has most things you might want, including some nice locally made cakes. There is a choice of beaches in easy reach and some lovely walks. The golf club food and coffee was recommended by another resident, but we will try this on our next visit. The pitches are fairly level and each has adequate space. We will definitely be making plans to stay a couple of times every year.

We stayed here between the 28th of May to the 3rd of June and it was stunning! The campsite has amazing views of the sea and on a clear night this gives you spectacular sunsets.

The toilet and shower blocks were clean with the shower block having more toilets than the toilet block. There are two beaches you can walk to easily with both having shops, ice cream vans, food outlets and cider.

On a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday a food van comes which cooks stone baked pizzas for around £12 which were delicious. We took these down to the beach and had a open fire.

Be warned, you phone says you have signal but you do not! We enjoy having no signal, but watching our 14 year old son wondering around to find signal was hilarious. Our top tip is go down to Constantine bay beach as the cafe has free WiFi

Unfortunately there is a building site right next to the camping field, our tent was right on the other side of the hedge from it. It’s started up at 8am and we had to escape the campsite to get away from it. It ruined our trip and we left early. The showers are a long walk from the camping field in the caravan area and cost a pound so we didn’t use them although the facilities are included in the description/price they are to far to make regular use of. The toilets and washing up area were close and clean which was good. Stunning location but unfortunately the building site made the experience poor and we won’t be returning to this campsite.

Dear 157luciaf Thank you for your review. I am sorry the building works ruined your stay. Unfortunately, these building works are nothing to do with us and we have no control over them or when they start work, we havnt had any other issues with the building work. We do have the clover field which you were more than welcome to stay in, this field is further away from the building works and closer to the showers. It is disappointing that this has made you reluctant to return in the future. Thank you Treyarnon Bay Holidays

We camped in the top field. The location of this campsite is spectacular - 5 minutes walk to a beautiful beach and very close to several more. Lovely clean facilities, toilets and showers all spotless, pot washing facilities great, lovely friendly staff, a fab little shop down the beach selling literally everything (milk, eggs, bacon, tent pegs, mallets, windbreaks, etc!). Showers cost £1 for 7 minutes and you can get change via cashback from reception which is handy. Fish and chips/pizza van there twice a week. Lovely quiet site, but full of families which was great.

The only things that make it not *quite* 5 stars, is the paying for showers which, while we understand, just makes the whole thing a bit inconvenient, and secondly there was only two washing machines that we could find on site, and one tumble dryer. Which didn’t seem enough for the size of the site, and did mean we had to keep checking if a machine was free to do washing and then weren’t able to get a free spot for the dryer. Lastly, to be able to park a second car somewhere for free, even if not right by your tent, would have been helpful. But! These are tiny moans and if I could give 4.5 stars I definitely would.

We just stayed for the first time without the kids. We have a caravan but don't bother with electric hook up. We've stayed many times before in school holidays with kids but we still had a great holiday without them.
This is not a site for disco or club entertainment. If you want a quiet site where you can rest and walk to the beach this is brilliant. There's lots of local cliff top walks, surf, places to sit and watch the world go by.
The showers are good, don't forget your £1, and there's got water for washing up. We didn't use the washing machines this time but they've saved a long trip to a laundrette in the middle of a 2 well holiday many times in the past.
The view of sunset from the beach here is amazing and many evenings we've walked back down to get photos of the sun going down into the sea.
There's a great shop an easy walk from the camping field at Constantine Bay Stores. And Gary's one by the beach is good for all sorts of things and plenty of beach supplies. Rental of wetsuits and other stuff is easy from the Constantine Bay Surf Store.
Look forward to returning, maybe next year.

On arrival you get to see the beautiful views absolutely stunning on a sunny hot day.

The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and pointed us in the right direction to the camping field.

The camping field was a large field with drinking water and close to the shower block. Which was very clean in both the mens and woman’s.

A five minute walk to the glorious beach where we stayed all day , so clean and tidy and for a beach that looks so small there’s so much room for family’s and pets.
There’s a little shop in the car park with everything you need and for food there a van that does amazing breakfast baps among other foods and drinks.
The youth hostel do food and drinks too and was also nice.

The only concern is that my parter went along the rocks to snorkel and got hit by waves and almost didn’t get out alive albeit for a decent guy who could only reach her with his leg to pull her out, but that was completely our fault and just a warning to be careful if swimming or jumping off the rocks.

Live local ish but will definitely be going back and staying for more than the two nights , well kept beautiful place to stay, you could almost say you were in an exotic place in the world but without paying a fortune

We've stayed at Treyarnon twice now and as soon as we can book up for a third stay we will.
We stayed in the clover field both times which is more than spacious with plenty of room to pitch up in any direction you wish without tiny little pitch sizes and overlapping guidelines like many other sites. Yes a lot of the field is on a slope but it is more than worth it for that beautiful view.
The showers are clean, spacious and I've never had to queue, you get 7 minutes which is more than generous and the cost is easy swallowed by the reasonable pitching fees.
The beach shop and Constantine shop are both within a few minutes walk and the staff at each are very friendly.
We fully took advantage of being able to book to arrive and leave on odd days which meant we could miss the both the Saturday traffic and the bank holiday traffic.
The beach has everything you could need, RNLI are on duty there, the rock pool is outstanding and there are plenty of smaller pools for the kids to catch fish, crabs and shrimp in. We've seen the sea choppy enough for surfing and as still as a pond which is great because we love to body board and to paddle board.
The internet is none existent which is all a part of it for me. Being able to switch the world off and enjoy such a beautiful setting really does recharge you.
Padstow is a stones throw away and Newquay is just a touch further in the other direction.
All in all 2 fantastic stays so far at Treyarnon.
Counting the days until the next one.

We stayed here for one night. The location to the beach was good. We would describe this site as functional but soulless in September. It is basically a static caravan park with an add on camping field. Facilities were clean but the layout not designed to cater fully for campers. For example the toilets were close by but the showers a trek away in a different location, as was the laundry and reception. When we arrived we entered through large gates suitable for large vehicles which was good. We had been sent an email to say we were on pitch numbers 27 and 29 which were non electric. However, on arrival we could not see these numbers. When we asked the person cutting the grass where these pitches were he told us these pitch numbers did not exist. After a trek to reception we found out the non electric are not allocated and we could just pick a spot which was fine. However, it would have been helpful if this was explained to us in advance or by the member of staff who was cutting the grass.

Have just returned from a weekend away here. The site is down a very narrow lane so beware if in a camper or larger vehicle.
The camping area is at the very top of the site. The pitches are flat and very generous sizes.
There is a toilet block but only 3 toilets so can be busy. Also a sink area to do the dishes.
The shower block is further away near the statics and there are 8 toilets there even though most statics have their own toilets? The showers are very basic and no good for families no shelves or dry area no where to put toiletries. Cost £1 but loads of hot water but the whole area gets wet. Been on lots of campsites this year and these are at the bottom!!
There is a fish and chips van some nights and an ice cream van but it’s all cash. The youth hostel is brilliant. Great views and lovely food and drink.
The beach is just stunning and the sunsets amazing.

Hi there, Thank you for your review. We hope you enjoyed your stay. Yes usually "Bay" in Cornwall means narrow windy roads! so sorry if this was a surprise to you. You came at the Whitsun week which is probably one of our busiest weeks. We do have further toilets located by the shower block. We have two family showers located at either end of the shower blocks and we have hooks for bags in the shower blocks. Sorry if we are on the bottom of your campsites : ( We do have lots of families that return year after year but understand if its not for you. Yes we do have lovely views and yes the sunsets are brilliant! Thank you.
