We stayed on a non electric camping pitch. The pitches are marked out and are very generous in size. The toilet and shower facilities look brand new and are very clean and tidy, never had to wait to use them. The entire site is very well kept and looked after. The on site shop is great, and the children loved the playground and the wonderful swimming pool. Very close to the nearest beach, but found we had to drive, especially with young children, we didn't want to walk along the small winding roads with them. Overall a great holiday and would happily recommend this site, it is lovely.

ive stopped at this site for approx 15 years for our main holidays in our touring caravan, we have also stopped at many other sites in Cornwall but always return for our main holiday at what we call the jewel in the crown. this year we took the plunge and put our caravan on a season pitch with higher harlyn. i can honestly say this has been the best decision we could of made, we have been nearly every wend as well as our main holidays. the facilities are always kept clean, the staff and the manager miriam are allways helpfull and friendly. the site is very close to several beaches which we love to visit. the sea views from the main camping field are fantastic. this site is a fantastic family ran site that many people enjoy. thank you higher harlyn for our first full season with you, we are really looking forward to spending our 2022 season with you again. We have come back from a lovely holiday camping at Higher Harlyn Park. Location was perfect for walking to local pub or could walk to beaches. Site facilities were perfect and have everything you need to have a perfect camping experience; especially the early morning walk to the coffee cabin and then the food huts in the evening. Outdoor heated swimming pool was very much the favourite place to be for our children. Beautiful sunsets with a fantastic coastal view, quiet campsite at night. The campsite was super clean and was very much getting cleaned throughout the day. 2 improvements to make but not a complaint; showers to stay on a little longer and not have to continually press button and a safer walking path to the beach. We can’t wait to go back in 2022!!!!

We stayed in our touring caravan on electric hook up - my Sister's family stayed in their caravan next to us. We usually stay on a much more basic family run site, but tried Higher Harlyn as our usual site was fully booked due to Covid. I've got to say, although the shop and pool were a great facility, this site was not for us. The layout felt too cramped and with a lack of landscaping or hedging it resembled a terraced street in rows. The shower blocks were very modern, but due to numbers of campers, always felt busy and not particularly clean. They were cleaned several times a day, but people were irresponsible and did not clean up after themselves - something I've never encountered before after years of camping. It felt like the world and his Wife had purchased a tent due to Covid and weren't aware of camping etiquette or how to flush a toilet! (My Husband also found 4 empty cans of lager in a toilet cubical and various sweets in the showers. Water pressure was hard work filling the water hogs and my Husband had a hard time at the Elsan point as there was no flushing system so had to contend with remnants of other campers 'debris'. Views were lovely and we could see the sea clearly.. plenty of space to walk the dogs too. The shop was very well stocked with delicious cakes and bread and reasonably priced. All in all a pleasant stay - just not our cup of tea unfortunately.

Great pool area. Play park for smaller kids only. Good shop and brilliant, clean toilet and shower block. My only gripe was the pitches which were in rows and represented a shanty town. Our didn’t get the sun at all really and this was really disappointing. The larger field at the back which was without electric hook up was much sunnier.

We are seasoned visitors to Higher Harlyn Park and are never disappointed - it has everything you could want without being a big park hence why we are always coming back. Pitches are a really good size and we had the added bonus of waking up to a sea view and even managed to grab a couple of beautiful sunsets. The facilities on site were clean with plenty of soap and sanitiser always available. The swimming pool - a firm favourite for my girls and was a great temperature to enjoy, and the kids play park is spot on! The street food vendors coming on to site was great addition to our stay - freshly made pizzas from Wild Bake and bacon and sausage baps with a flat white from Lucy were very much enjoyed! Another A*** stay and we will jump at the chance to return again soon! Thank you

Amazing time and will be visiting more often. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Facilities were great and bad weather didn’t matter when we jumped in outside heated pool. Can’t wait for end of august so we can get back down. Site conveniently placed near shops and beaches.

Our first time here we will be booking again, however staying on the bays was a fair trek to the toilets for our 4 grandkids. We were surprised at the amount of people walking their dogs around our field and not adhering to rules. Our biggest concern was the pool lovely to have one but the size is not big enough for the groups of older children that dive & bomb in the pool ignoring the rules and spoiling it for the younger children we were amazed no one was hurt. The whole place is lovely facilities are really nice and very clean and staff very helpful. Will be booking again for next year

Been coming here over last few years and had a great time but this year there were a few real annoyances. Soooooooo many dogs .... Dog owners were not always responsible nor compliant with camp site rules. Dogs not on the lead, barking endlessly, walking them around the Bay's camp field for toileting purposes. The majority did use the outer path but as time went on and with a largely empty field they walked across marked pitches and allowed their dogs to foul. One man retorted after picking up the mess from a pitch - “its clean now so what's your problem? . My concern is a family will pitch there possibly with young children. If its clean after picking it up why not let the dog foul your own pitch and pick it up. I am sure they would not do that ....... Another just left it behind on the kids football pitch that had been set up across a couple of pitches for the Euros Campsite staff say they make it clear where the dog walking field is but its not that clear on the info provided on booking, maybe an extra sign at the entrance to the Bays reinforcing this would support the policy. My husband tells me the mens loos were filthy. Down to the campers, dont men flush the loo at home ? I feel sorry for the cleaners who do a great job in the womans block which was very clean. Be responsible when you visit campsites ! Perhaps clean midday too when you know its a mess too.....
