I arrived to the hotel at about 1am in the morning, the hotel being a very small but beautifully run hotel, had everything ready for me with check in instructions, etc. The Rhine river was right out side my window, it current made a very peaceful sound (my traveling colleague did not like it as he's used to pure silence).... Staying at Hotel Schlossberg was really a great pleasure! The spacious room with separate living room and tiny kitchen is very tidy and has a fantastic view of Roman Hill (Römerberg) and Rhein Valley (Rheintal) for few rooms. Such a setting complemented precisely with the wellness treatment we had at Cassiopeia Therme Badenweiler, which is just a few meters away... More

The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean as are the bathrooms. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I stayed during Baselworld and every morning there was bottled water and snacks to take to the show. Breakfasts at this hotel are exceptional , with a well presented buffet style breakfast, supplemented... More

Excellent room (suite with bedroom, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom), hotel quietly situated in a nice garden, close to the Kurpark and the city centre. Very friendly service, and a realy fantastic breakfast buffet.

Stayed in one of the hotel's suites for three nights. Large bedroom, separate sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. Spotlessly clean and great views toward the Vosges mountains from a very large balcony. Hotel is quiet and 3 minutes walk to town centre through the Kurpark. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of cereals, bread, cheese ham, fruit, yogurts and... More

Set on the edge of a park and close to both the Main Street and a working Roman baths, this small family run hotel is excellent value for money. Whilst the rooms are very clean and comfortable, single rooms are exactly that and built specifically for that purpose, with wooden bed frames built into the wall furniture. On booking in,... More

Absolutely exquisite hotel - set in the midst of the park, this was perhaps the most tranquil lodging experience of my life. It is worth a stay to just to eat at the breakfast buffet - absolutely as good as it gets. The owner even picks different fruits each day and makes fresh preserves. My challenge to anyone staying here... More

This hotel was perfectly positioned, just 5 minutes from the town centre via a lovely woodland walk. To our surprise we had not just a room, but an apartment with a lovely big balcony and a very comfortable bed.The breakfast was wonderful with such a large variety of things to sample. The staff were wonderful too and so friendly and... More

We had a short stay at the Hotel Schlossberg in June 2012 as part of a driving tour around Europe. The exterior of the Hotel looks very 60s and dated but this belies the modern interior which is fresh and looks to have been recently refurbished. Our problems were not therefore to do with the quality of the Hotel (the... More

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel is superbly run, very comfortably appointed and offers superb breakfasts (they don't offer other meals, but that's no problem in the Badenweiler area). The location is just below the Schloss - everything is within walking distance, so long as you don't mind a hill or two.... More
