We returned because this hotel is in brief walking distance from the train station and excellently located in the center of the old town. It is in an old building but with modern rooms and bathrooms. Outside the entryway door there were sort-of daunting instructions about self check-in but we went to the 2nd floor reception and easily checked in....

We stayed at this hotel with our two kids and booked a room with a sofa bed. I explicitly asked them in advance to prepare the sofa bed for sleeping but at our arrival nothing was ready, i asked the housekeeping to put sheets on the sofabed but she didnt understand a word, i pointed at the sofamatress inside the...

We have just come back from a 2 week tour of Europe and this was easily the worst of 12 hotels that we stayed in on many levels. Although it is well located in Konstanz town centre that is where the benefits end. The hotel receives a lot of sun but has no air conditioning so our room and that...

The hotel was extremely easy to locate once I got off of the train. Fortunately I arrived when there was a real person at the front desk, I could imagine it would be frustrating to do self check in, so if you are not going to arrive at a regular decent hour, maybe you shouldn't stay here as the front...

The good: Well... it's in the old town, close to everything. The WiFi works well. The bad: Overpriced. The room wasn't cleaned properly - there was dust on the floor, the trash bin wasn't emptied. The breakfast is basic - nothing warm.

I arrived on Sunday night about 8pm. It's a self check in hotel, so stood out in the rain trying to put in my Hotels.com reservation number. After several attempts it didn't work. There's no one at the hotel as I found out, so phoned the number on the glass. I spoke to a very nice lady who informed me...

Located in the centre of konstanz it is a good place to go to. It is a bit loud, but that is because you are in the middle of town, which gives you a lot of advantages. The down site is the parking, just a few expensive facilities

Excellent location around the corner from the train station and in the heart of everything. Room was very spacious and clean, staff friendly and breakfast very substantial. Only downside was realising the bed was broken after the staff had left for the day, which meant it had to be propped up by other furniture just to prevent sleeping on an...

The location is perfect, the staff friendly, parking houses with moderate fees close by. The WiFi quick and stable. But one of the lamps didn't work and I didn't get a new bulb when making them aware of the problem. The sofa in the room was comfortable enough but the leather imitation breaking into pieces. The shower door, hang on...

From the harbour, it was a 10 minute walk. We arrived on the catamaran. The railway station is even closer, and so is the bus terminal (Dobeleplatz). There are many bars and restaurants around, some of which were open until late (Italian, Subway, McDonalds). One can start a nice walk of the altstadt right next to the hotel. There is...
