Was traveling with a tour and the tour had booked standard room without air conditioning. Was very unhappy, but the staff tried their best to accomodate with a nice fan. Otherwise the room was very nice.

Also be aware that some rooms do not have elevator service.

Breakfasts were very good, with a wide selection of items, some unusual.

Good location on the island that is the center of Bamberg.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Hotel Villa Geyersworth. Our deluxe room was nicely appointed with everything we normally look for while traveling. It's the little things that count to us and they had them all. Parking was onsite and very convenient. The breakfast selections were very nice. Had a quick snack at their restaurant when we first arrived and the service and food were wonderful.

I stayed at the Hotel Villa Geyerswoerth for two nights in May with my wife as we were visiting Bamberg for a wedding. We booked with hotel.de and received a discounted rate.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and we were given a very large, bright room at the front of the building. The room and bathroom were of an excellent standard. Our only criticism is that the beds were rather hard.

We ate only breakfast at the hotel, sitting outside one morning which was very pleasant. The breakfast consisted of a well stocked and varied buffet.

The hotel has a small spa area which was very relaxing.

The hotel is ideally located to explore the old town on foot.

We would stay again if returning to Bamberg.

Located in the middle of the heart of Bamberg. A popular hotel next to Bamberg tourist information. In other words easy access to all touristic highlights of Bamberg.
Parking was easy a lot of space in the hotel garage. Rooms are spacious, clean and for the most well kept. There is an elevator from the garage that reaches all hotel floors. Breakfast is fine and you will get full attention from the Staff throughout. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, very pleasant meal with excellent support from the staff.
Price level as to be expected for a 4 star hotel in the middle of Bamberg.

Bamberg is a charming small town (UNESCO Heritage Site) and the Villa Geyersworth a great place to stay in the heart of the old city. Situated on an island between channels of the Danube River, the hotel has very comfortable rooms, good service in a quiet environment.

We went to Bamberg for a winter festive break. It was cold but wonderful. The hotel was very good. The staff were helpful and pleasant the room was excellent, the building and grounds grand. We thought the location ideally suited to our needs - easy walking to the romantic centre of this wonderfully preserved old German city with pubs, cafes and restaurants in ample supply. Our room was spacious and well supplied. We thought good value at this time of year. We were grateful for hot wine and good sausages as we wandered the icy streets and equally grateful for the comforts of this hotel as we came though the romantically (i.e. dimply) lit streets in the evening. A ggod experience

This hotel was great! We stayed here for 3 nights and the service was wonderful. Hotel and grounds were clean and beautiful. Loved the outside seating for the restaurant along the river. Although breakfast was on the pricy side, the food at breakfast was delicious, and would recommend it at . The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the center of the town and you can easily walk around to many of the sights in Bamberg as well as many shops, cafes, and restaurants. Love this hotel and town, and definitely recommend it!

+ decent breakfast, classy atmosphere, good location, quiet rooms

- few amenities for the price, small beds (How do some hotels still believe this is acceptable in the 4 star segment?!)

Overall not a bad hotel but it wouldn’t be my first choice

We stayed there only one night. It was good for that but not more... Our room was on rooftop, and was very hot in april, because the weather was hot, but the airconditioner doesn't work in april. The bad was too soft for us... The breakfast was perfect, large selection, very good coffee, and the terrace is romantic, where you can eat too...

I had stayed here a few years ago at the request of a local colleague. I was back and keen to give it a second go as I was going to be in town for several days. It's really better than I new in the first instance.

This time I had a chance to do some walking around and try a few local restaurants all of which are within walking distance.

The staff of the hotel are very nice and put up with my poor German. They offer a nice brekky spread and have a fitness facility. The treadmill is in German so that took a little work to sort out.

The rooms are "efficient" but with such a nice village, you should be out walking around!
