Our room (205) was VERY SMALL and the noise from the street came in the window in the morning starting around 6 AM. Since the room had no A/C we had to sleep with the windows open. The breakfast was good, but I missed the fruit salad :-( It is about a 15 minute walk down in the city center... More

Ok so it was hot outside but the room was so hot, no a/c or fans. Bedding was scratchy and uncomfortable and I am only a very small build but ever time I moved the bed creaked so woke me up. The rooms are reasonably clean but not that spacious. But all this could have been overcome but what can't... More

Parking, though free, was limited, and signage was not the best: if we hadn't had a GPS, we might not have found it. The room had great views and good space, but I was surprised at the cobwebs and insects because accommodations in Germany are usually spotless. Wifi was free but worked only intermittently-- we were NOT offered the use... More

I should have known better, too, having written (fairly, I think) quite a few reviews for this website. We (three) stayed here the night 1/2 January 2013. I booked it only a few days prior as we were in Germany and wanted to see the Zeppelin Museum (it's not far away). The only redeeming feature of this "hotel" is that... More

The woman who met us at the door of the Villa von Soden - Hotel Garni (or Graf Soden Haus) was confrontational without any reason. She showed us our room, which looked like a hostel, and we were shocked that adults should stay in that room. We had no other choice because our credit card had been already charged by... More

Chosen because of its historic aspects and location, the Villa von Soden did not live up to expectations. The front gate bore a legend limiting check-in times and was firmly bolted to cars, the back gate (with on-street parking) led to a scruffy lawn and empty grubby swimming pool, and a somewhat unwelcoming proprietress. We had paid extra for a... More

We stayed here while travelling through Germany. Free parking. Breakfast was great. Free Internet although we were unable to work this on the night we were there however the staff allowed us to use the computer downstairs and gave us some champagne as a token gesture, which was a nice touch. Staff could not help us enough and suggested a... More

We stayed there for 5 nights; a group of 4 people; arriving on June 26 through and departing on July 2, 2008. It is a very clean small hotel. I was given a double room although I was alone (possibly because a single room was available). The room was very basic, but the bed was very comfortable and I am... More

We just arrived back from our stay at this hotel. Overall i would describe the hotel as bad. We (family) stayed there for 4 days. During that time, the sheets were not changed, the towels were never changed and were completley inadequate for a family. I understand the situation with sheets as it was the same occupants but the towel... More
