We just returned from a 4 day/3night visit to the Dolphin Lodge and the beautiful Mamori River. The entire visit was fantastic. The excursions we well planned - Mo took his time to explain the area, point out wildlife and answer question and allow time for photographs. He was always aware of our surroundings and made sure we were safe...

So we (wife and I) booked this place after we had to cancel another booking and it turned out to be the best thing that happened to us. We went there in November 2015 when it was the low water season and right from the time we landed, Mo and his family made us feel very comfortable. While it is...

Took the 5 night 6 day tour. A little apprehensive as the first time on such an event! The guides were amazing knowledgeable and patient with every ridiculous question! Absolute must do location! The standard of service is excellent from the moment of collection! A truly gentle rustic experience with a life time of memories X

I only have positive things to say about our stay in the Dolphin Lodge and I would highly recommend it to any one looking for an authentic experience of the Amazon. Let's get things clear: this is not a luxurious jungle lodge. Don't expect to find luxurious accommodations. You will stay in a simple bungalow, with no more than a...

Booked the trip online - 50/50 payment by credit card. We were picked-up from the hotel and transfered directly to the lodge. The journey was smooth, although our guides didnt speak english and spanish this was not an issue. When we arrived to the lodge - we just relaxed had some lunch and then our activities started. We especially enjoyed the...

The Amazon looks similar in a lot of places -- it's a very dense jungle and rivers. The thing that makes a huge difference in someone's experience of the Amazon is their guide. Mo is incredible. The land around the Dolphin lodge has been in Mo's family for generations and he knows it like the back of his hand. He...

This was a great find. We are so glad that we stumbled upon this lodge. My boyfriend and I first tried the bigger lodges and they were all full, so we decided to book at this lodge. That was the best decision ever. Mo (the owner) is fantastic and so willing to give you the true amazon experience. Since it's...

It's a bit of a trek to get here, but well worth it. The location overlooking the river with pink and grey dolphins swimming by from time to time is stunning. We had an excellent experienced guide with good English who took us out on lots of activities from dawn bird watching in canoes to forest walks, local school visit...

I stayed in the middle of the Amazon to see caymans, amazing and numerous birds, monkeys, grey and pink dolphins. Visiting local family to see manioc 'plantation' and production I got a good sense of local life and social structure. As this is the low water season I walked through forests to reach lakes and experience the heart of the...

We spent four nights in this amazing Eco-lodge right overlooking the river. The two bungalows on stilts (rooms 9 and 10) are great and one really feels in the heart of the rain forest. Mocinho is an amazing tour guide and host. As he grew there, he knows everything about the area, the wildlife, the plants and all the local...
