This is a lovely hotel with excellent location next to the train station but we never heard the train noise during our stay. The room is comfortable and quiet, bathroom is spotlessly clean and spacious. We can enjoy beautiful black forest view from our balcony. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and the asparagus set menu is highly recommended. Hinterzarten is...

Had a short break here over Easter. The hotel is very well located for exploring the Black Forest either by train or car. The rooms we had were immaculately clean and very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant twice and were very impressed with the service and quality of food. The staff were very friendly and happy to help us...

Myself and partner ended up here last minute for New Years 2015...We could not have been happier to stumble across this fantastic little hotel. I have been to the Black Forest 5+ times and have always stayed in near by Titisee when in the area. But this Hotel by far is better than staying in Titisee. Very reasonable priced hotel,...

Friendly and helpful staff, good food and rooms. 4 years and counting, so far nothing we would change. Never tried the sauna. Perfectly located in the center of town, close to public transport, accomodate special food requests.

I highly recommend this family run hotel. Clean, comfortable, friendly and efficient service and good value. We stayed there as part of a visiting choir, singing three concerts during the week. The small town of Hinterzarten was quiet and friendly, and a good centre for seeing the surrounding parts of the Black Forest. Included in the price was a Guest...

Frankly, I've never had a vacation that costs so little money. The hotel's budget friendly and transport, entries to attractions are all free. THE HOTEL: The hotel's a typical good German style hotel. Very clean and well run with helpful staff. Buffet breakfast is typically German (not a huge spread; but all items covered). Guests are assigned tables for breakfast...

Located right smack in the center of town, you can't get lost or not be able to find your hotel. One in our party was given a room in the main hotel and we were given a room at their adjunct hotel, Sonne, located just a few hundred feet away. We had many of our meals at the main hotel...

We came across this hotel by chance as we were looking for something in Titisee and most decent hotels there were either booked or were way too expensive. Hinterzarten is 1 stop away from Titisee or around 3kms walk. The town is picturesque. Its a small quaint village except that all houses are large and exceptionally beautiful. I think more...

We were looking for a room that will be big enough for two adults and two teenagers. We have been offered a room at their satellite house, Sonne Hotel (located about 100m from the main building). We received the room on the ground floor, which was designed for handicapped people. The room was very big, but it feels like something...

Stayed here based on the previous reviews, we travelled from Zurich just for a quick break. We had a truly superb stay for 3 nights. We had a lovely room right at the front with a balcony, immaculately clean and very nicely decorated, and one previous reviewer mentioned the shower, I can confirm it is one of the most powerful...
