Stayed one night at this "wellness" hotel, although the wellness section is small. It needs a renovation badly, as do the rooms. The hotel room was "outdated", worn flooring all around, beds were not up to standards. The bathroom was very small and looked very outdated as well. The sauna's were OK at best, but the Turkish bath smelled like...

Our family stayed here as part of an inn-to-inn walking tour through the Blackforest at the beginning of the "walking/hiking season" in Germany. We stayed here on our first night and last night of a 9-day trip. Both times we were very impressed with the location, the views, the peaceful surroundings and wellness offerings at the hotel. The hotel is...

Beautiful setting in Black Forest hills near Titisee. Spacious well laid out & equipped rooms in peaceful setting. Lovely walking area. Helpful staff. Had good quality meal in panorama restaurant. Opted for 5 course half board meal - great value. Had after dinner drinks in hotel bar by fire. Good range of Spa facilities including pool & had relaxing massage....

Arrived after a long road trip from Europort. Not so easy to find but once there found an oasis of tranquility. Staff very friendly, room superb, breakfast fabulous. We had our evening meal 'a la carte' all 3 nights, service brilliant but felt could have been more variety in the menu. We obviously went at a quiet time of year...

Haven't the owners heard about air condition, or at least about fans? The hotel is excellent, the rooms are big and well equipped, breakfast buffet is sufficient with cheese, cold cuts, eggs, fruit, vegetables cereals and variety of bread. Eating breakfast outside with the amazing view and fresh air in the morning is an experience by itself. Service in the...

We were here as part of a small car club group and were very impressed by the rooms, standard of service and good food. The restaurant manager, Jurgen, was particularly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent and there is a cosy bar/restaurant area for lunch or snacks. There is free wifi and covered parking is available. For people...

Spent a week here, bed and breakfast. The room was superb - top floor, almost a suite, with a walk-in dressing room and top end bathroom. Seems to have been renovated recently, so everything felt new and clean. Breakfast was also excellent. The place looks vaguely careworn from the outside, but inside everything is really well sorted out. Staff are...

The hotel is a bit off the more crowded Titisee, but commands a wonderful view over a valley of the Black Forest. Being away from the crowds, the hotel is very quiet. The original building dates from the 60s, and that is visible in things like the pool and some of the rooms. Yet I understand that they are just...

The Saigerhoeh is undeniably a big hotel, spread over about 200m so it can take quite a long time to walk for breakfast or to the Sauna complex, not a place for those feeling unsteady. However large the hotel seems able to absorb and serve a lot of people with ease. The Panorama rooms are reasonable suites and have recently...
