We have stayed here before as a stop over and it is still as good as the last time we were here - the owners are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately on the evening we arrived they had a family commitment and as such we were unable to enjoy the fantastic evening meal we had so looked forward to. The...

This place is in a lovely small town close to the German Black Forest. It is a renovated old house, bedrooms are good in size, although beds are a little small. Bathrooms are good and most of all the service and the restaurants are great. The food is absolutely delicious and the people very friendly and kind. And for us...

On a long journey with family we stopped one night at this beautifully laid hotel in the black forest. We had the big family room which resembles a 2 bedroom apartment rather than a room. Big terrace with a great view. We had dinner at the restaurant and we really enjoyed the meal which in spite of being based on...

Very large accommodation with living room, two large bedrooms and a big bathroom. Restaurant was very good. Food was delicious and all fresh. Portions are very big (as often...

This was no fault of the Hotel as the temperature was in the mid 30's degrees C. There was no air-conditioning, but this was unexpected heat and in this region Air-Con in not normally a feature. The Rural setting on the edge of the Black Forrest. A good choice of traditional German food to a high standard of cuisine. The...

Great hotel. Especially considering it is only three stars. Highly recommended. The good: Very friendly staff, great food (large portions). Delicious Ganter Hefeweizen. Quiet location. The bad Rooms are a bit dated but spacious and clean. Considering the price all in proportion.

Our room was very big with a lovely balcony, very clean but all a bit dated. The beds were very creaky and woke me up every time I turned over!!! The food was excellent with a big choice. There was plenty of outside seating with some very pretty views at the back. It's in a beautiful location with lovely walks around,...

We stayed one night to start our trip in the Schwarzwald. Rooms are clean and ok. Price is very reasonable. Nice restaurant to eat (cheap prices) and good breakfast. Ideal for a short stop-over in the Schwarzwald!
