I can't say enough about this wonderfully quaint hotel. Family-owned and operated, the staff aims to please and offers a wRm and inviting welcome. Very clean, newly renovated rooms gave us a comfortable nights sleep... And our veranda gave us views of 2 castles nestled in the mountains! Breathtaking view!!

Our family of four enjoyed our two-night stay at the Hotel Waldmann--we only wish we could have stayed longer in this beautiful, park-like location. We had two adjoining rooms, which were SPACIOUS. Our teens enjoyed having a room and tv to themselves for a change. The beds were comfortable--complete with fluffy, down comforters. We appreciated having a refrigerator in the...

We stayed in this beautiful place for 4 nights and enjoyed our rest greatly. The place is very authentic, peaceful and quite. We had a wonderful view (room 20) of the castles. We parked our car near the hotel and kept our bicycles in the garage. The staff is really very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good. The castles...

Lovely well maintained Family Run Hotel in an excellent location. The whole place was immaculately clean, well decorated with really friendly and helpful Staff. If you can get a room with a balcony, you might be able to see one or both of the castles between the trees.Ideal for visiting the Castles, but don't miss a trip to Fussen, a...

We only stayed one night. The room was spacious and clean, with a terrace with a view of the Neuschwanstein castle. It was quiet and close to the tourist destinations. The staff were friendly. They have a restaurant. We only had coffee. But the atmosphere was nice. It's close to the castles we wanted to visit. It's an old building...

This hotel is really nice and our room had a beautiful view from the balcony towards Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. The restaurant was closed so we could not try it.

Good basic hotel in a great location. We walked from hotel to Neuschwanstein castle. It was an easy 30 minute walk to ticket office. Our room was a decent size with a modern bathroom. We had a balcony with view of the castle. It was very pretty lit up at night. Breakfast was good in a charming breakfast room. They even...

I would highly recommend this place the service was very friendly they were able to understand English and they speak English very clear, the rooms were very clean and you can tell that they have been recently remodeled all up-to-date facilities in each one, very nice bike path nearby, 4 miles from the nearby castle of Neuschwanstein.

This nice, small, family-owned and operated hotel is located between Schwangau, Hohenschwangau (Neuschwanstein!), and Fussen. This is the kind of hotel I suspect most folks picture when they think of a nice Bavarian or Tyrolian guest house. Plenty of parking; easy to find, and the views are spectacular. You can literally see Neuschwanstein perched high on the hill from some...

Wonderful family owned business, with a great location and very good service! We had a view of both castles from our balcony and the dinner patio, and the food was very good. The bathrooms were newly remodeled and very clean, as was the entire establishment. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!
