We can’t say nicer things about Villa Favolosa! May John and Elio maintain their untarnished “excellent” for as long as they so desire! We spent the last three days of our 6 weeks of travel at Villa Favolosa and it was memorable in every way. The rooms have countless tasteful flourishes from the local wine, to the quality pillows and...

If you are looking to experience an "off the beaten path" type of Italy, Villa Favolosa is a must. The area is quaint home and area with interesting attractions near by. You need to have a car to be able to travel around but it is worth it. There are a few days worth of interesting towns and countryside to...

Having read a whole stack of rave reviews on Trip Advisor about Villa Favolosa, I had high expectations about the place and wasn't disappointed. John and Elio are wonderful hosts, attentive and kind, and the villa is stunning - the rooms are charming and the little extras like complimentary dolcetto wine in the room and a little liqueur chocolate add...

Management response:

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding Google Maps, we have notified them of the error on their site. (Google has our street name as 2 words, Roa Piana, instead of one) If guests use the directions and maps on our website the B&B is very easy to find.

You get personal treatment as the villa has only 3 rooms. All the rooms are spacious and very spacious bathroom. You can get your breakfast at whatever time you request.and breakfast is whatever you like...ie cereal, fruit, yoghurt, bread, crossiant, lovely coffee, eggs etc. Giuanin and Eleo are very friendly and they also do cooking and/or Italian lessons if you wish....

This was our first trip to Piedmonte, although we have traveled in Italy many times. We were excited to explore the Slow Food region, having heard such great reviews about its food and wine. Fortunately we found the perfect hosts and B & B to help us make our week’s experience in this region so memorable. John and Elio have...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Villa Favolosa in August. John and Elio, were great hosts and have a wonderful B & B. We toured the Langhe region of Alba, Barolo, Bra, Cuneo and used this location as our base. It is a little hard to find but worth it since we felt you get a great local...

We stayed at the Villa Favolosa for two nights in late May. John (Giuannin), an Italian American with B and B experience, and Elio, whose grandparents used to run the villa as a Pensione for years, were the perfect hosts. The villa was recently renovated and pristine while maintaining its old world charm. We were treated to complimentary local chocolates,...

This B&B was obviously planned to a tee. From the moment we entered the building that was once a real "pensione", we knew we'd love it. The clean, cozy and spacious living room is elegantly decorated. Our bedrooms were huge and so very clean. The floors, doors and accent furniture are original! We felt at home and at the same...

Nestled in a little hillside hamlet with a 17th Century chapel next door, Villa Favolosa was a wonderful calming antidote to several days' cultural overload in Venice and Florence . The room was a tidy mix of old and new, with a surprisingly spacious antique armoire for our clothing and an ultramodern, spotless bathroom ensuite. The windows opened to beautiful...

When I arrived at Villa Favolosa, I was amazed at the property. I had seen photos of it on the Internet but I feel that these photos really do not do it justice. The B & B was just incredible! It was what one would expect to see in a movie. Every little detail was covered. The rooms were spacious...
