I stayed here a couple of nights to enjoy the Italian Dolomites. My room had a nice little balcony and the hotel has a little lake on site that’s very scenic, in addition to a pool. Having some lunch by the lake was very relaxing and the food and service are both excellent.
This hotel has both new renovated rooms and older rooms. We booked an older room, which turned out to be clean but simply furnished. It had a balcony which looked out onto a back alley with foot traffic and from where we could hear the conversations of people passing by. The renovated rooms were presumably much nicer but also significantly more expensive. The main selling point of the hotel is the garden and the natural pool, which is beautifully done. The location of the hotel is just a short walk from the center of the small village of St. Paul Eppan. Breakfast and dinner were satisfactory, with dinner being slightly on the pricey side.
This place was amazing. It is such a beautiful view and the staff could not be nicer and more accommodating. Roberto and David in the restaurant and bar were superb. I am from Texas and they exceeded Texas hospitality. The balcony view was one of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. It is very close to the village and restaurants and also the bus stop that goes to Bolzano.
The surroundings are marvellous, the Hotel a bit noisy, the restaurant and the parties organized in there could really impact on the quiet you need to sleep. On the average, good beds, nice rooms (not all the rooms) the bigger they are the more beautiful they are. Ask for a room on the back of the structure a the highest floor if you need to sleep quietly, otherwise, you are at risk to share the Karaoke evening with someone else.
I was there in August for 3 days, at work. Not a good hotel for people who want to work, since the internet does not work outsider the lobby. Staff not very nice, I got the impression they only pay attention to German guests, but Italians and others (like me, Portugueses), hardly exist. The food was ok, but this hotel should not be considered a 4*, in my opinion. Also, the bathroom in the bedroom was extremely small and the room was not cleaned, although the cleaning lady went in, she did not even notice a big dead bug on the floor. I let it stay there for the 3 days, on purpose, and I think it might still be there...
