Stayed at this hotel one night on a business trip. Had a room on the second floor facing the street. The room was large, well lit and clean. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. There is no air-condition (!) however the night was cool so there was no issue. Breakfast was good with a good selection. Free WiFi was good.... More

We came to the hotel without a reservation and we were welcomed as VIP's! There was even a fee free garage for ou bikes. Very friendfull and funny staff, fantastic rooms(with or without airco) and a breakfast like a 5 stars palace! We recommended the place to our friend's (also"bikers")and they even stand there for two nights! Situated in the... More

We were moved from another hotel to this one through a booking error. The hotel is very close to the centre of town. The rooms seem to have been recently renovated and are quite contemporary. The hotel is attached to a bar with another bar and beer garden behind it. The rooms are well priced compared to other hotels. Give... More

The rooms are presently being renovated, I stied in a single room with a newlky renovated bathroom. Mattress was really good and I slept like a baby. Dear Tripadvisor travellers, I stayed lately in this hotel downtown in Speyer and it was a nice stay. The staff is very friendly. The hotel and the rooms are characterful, old but in a good condition. The rooms are adequately furnished; my room was big. The breakfast is fresh and good; sufficient to choose from. Internet on the room is... More

For location, this hotel is hard to beat but it was not exactly perfect. The hotel is basically right at the end of Maxmillianstrasse immediately across from the Altportel and the new mall. The people are kind, the service is good, breakfast is well done, but the rooms are dated and not very comfortable. And I mean dated in a... More

I found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. My single room was charming, clean and comfortable. WiFi was included in my room rate. The only thing that I would have liked is a small holder/shelf in the shower to hold soap and shampoo. I spent 4 nights and would definitely return to this hotel.

Better to ask a room to the yard - it's more quiet. Rooms are very clean and large. Service very friendly. Free wifi. Good breakfast buffet with home made bread and cakes. Safe parking on the yard. Just in the city center, everything at walking distance. What more can you hope for!

Compared to the standard of the rooms and breakfast, my judgement is that it is a bit to expensive (92£) for a double room. Rooms are nice and decorated quite alternatively, which was nice and added to the charm. Bathroom was clean and in good shape, but very old fasioned. Breakfast average, but lots of choices. The hotel is centered... More

I stayed one night here with a friend. We were travelling by car from Swizerland. There was a car parking station just up the road which charged 2 Euros for 24 hours which is remarkable value. We arrived very late without a booking on a Friday night. The hotel was busy, as was the connected restaurant. My friend's dog was... More
