Finding a spot to sleep between Ceduna and Kalgoorlie, we got told that Eucla is probably the best choice. We followed the advice, and definitely agreed after going pass our other options the day before and after!!! The accommodation is pretty basic and reminded me of an old school room. The bar and restaurant started filling up with some nice... More

We stayed in a clean and very comfortable Executive Unit on our travels to Sydney. Its showing its age and is not the Ritz but was welcoming after a long drive from Perth. On our return leg, with 24' caravan in tow, we were refreshingly surprised by the very clean and upgraded toilet and shower block. The sites are open... More

We booked the budget room for $70 per night and when we arrived the lady said it was only a bed. That is fine we didn't expect much given we are in the middle of no where. This room is VERY outdated and smelt of mold. I felt like I was living in a shed which had some paint, bed,... More

As someone said earlier you don't expect a lot when crossing the Nullarbor, and we've done it six times now. But we'd not stopped at Eucla before and it was a nice surprise. We stayed in the camping ground which has fab ocean views, a neat (basic) camp kitchen and very adequate amenities. The site areas can be a bit... More

Booked a room in advance over the phone as hubby and I heard that when traveling across the Nullarbor it's best to have accommodation pre-booked. We arrived and checked in, budget room was separate from the main hotel, we were the only ones in the budget accommodation. We were not offered any choice in Room types and I booked 2... More

You don't expect much when travelling across the Nullarbor - the roadhouses are just for an overnight stop. They are pricey for what you get - given the cost of water, power, transport that is to be expected - however you do expect the basics to be provided. On the plus the bed was firm and comfortable, the shower hot... More

Like an earlier reviewer, we were not expecting much, but our room was clean with a lovely view out of the large windows facing the ocean. The shower does wet the floor - there must be some way this could be fixed, but we wiped it down, as one does.

This was a stopover location, checked in to a less than friendly receptionist who did give direction on bar, dinner times which we duly noted. Room was adequate, asked for a room for 2 people, 2 single beds as requested, Bathroom has been renovated but not the hotel room. TV has no remote, that it is you manually change it... More

We stayed here twice recently travelling Sydney to Perth and return. The rooms are large but fairly dated, need some TLC but there is not a lot of choice. Bathroom is ok with good hot water. The bed was comfortable for a good night's rest and it was quiet. Remember it's a long way from anywhere. At $140 it was cheaper... More

This was better than I expected on the Nullarbor. After driving past a few roadhouses along the way and seeing the tired 70's buildings I didn't hold out much hope for Eucla. It's like a little oasis, with fuel, Motel and caravan accommodation a big restaurant and bar area. We booked a room that had a queen bed and a... More
