We decided to try camping at a powered site at the Eucla Motor Hotel but we changed this to a budget cabin when we learnt that a storm front was rolling in. The cabin was very basic without even a fan (but fortunately the storm kept the temperature low), I am not sure if this would be comfortable on a...

Even though Eucla is in an isolated area, we feel that the motel room was way overpriced at $140. The most expensive of our trip and had the least facilities offered. A kettle was the only thing on offer and not even a biscuit with the tea and coffee. We won't be staying again.

Stayed here in a budget family room overnight on the way east the room is very basic but was very clean an comfortable with great amenities, there was a pool for the kids to have a splash in after a long day in the car, and a bar for a relaxing drink and dinner afterwards. We enjoyed our stay and...

We stayed in a powered site for 1 night for $25.00 and $1 for 5 min hot/ cold showers. No water taps for your caravan and no dump point or fresh water at all. Had great views of the Roe Plains right to the ocean. Road leading to the caravan park if full of potholes so drive carefully. We had...

Paid $175 for a room for a family of four. The facade on the reception building is very appealing but don't let this fool you. The accommodation is very basic and bathrooms are unclean. The laundry facilities are in the adjoining caravan park which is a good 800m away (not good when you have to walk it four times). The...

Day SEVENTEEN of my trip from Perth to Melbourne and back. Heading westwards towards home the Eucla Motel was a good oasis though the Deluxe room wasn’t cheap and was looking a bit tired, especially the door for some reason. No WiFi here so again, I recommend a Dongle or similar if you want to use a laptop or the...

Fantastic Views, but Bitumen road is badly rutted. Locks on Amenities (Men) Broken. Showers were clean enough but $1.00 for five minutes on top of Powered Sites fees. Very dusty as you would expect. Haphazard sites and first in best dressed. It was quite enough and off the road. About what you would expect for the Nullabour Plains Roadhouse.

for $25.00 you get what you paid for, the camp sites are large and shady if you pick the right one. Amenities nice & clean $1.00 for a 5 minute shower. Camp kitchen really good with fridge, microwave. Ground hard to drive in tent pegs but overnight stay it's perfect. Eucla Motel Hotel has cheaper fuel than Border Village servo...
