This Hotel is located in Oberreitnau, 7 km from Lindau, in a quiet and nice region. Could be a base for car trips in region – tour of Lake Constance, or as we did, visit to famous German Castles – Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle. The property is very clean, the rooms has enough space (but not for big trunks)...

I stayed in Gasthof Ziegler en route to a business meeting in Zurich. The rooms were a little non-descript and could do with some local flair but the bathroom was fabulous, like that in a spa (it had 2 showers). I stayed for dinner and here the chef and the staff really shone - service was prompt, warm and friendly...

Perfectly adequate hotel, newly renovated and clean. There are quite a lot of stairs to the second floor, as mentioned by others. Our bathroom and room were really tiny, but the two rooms booked by our travelling companions were larger. The door to the bathroom is glass, partly but not completely opaque, and did nothing to stop sound travelling. The...

Nice and clean, no elevator so be prepared for lots of steps to second floor. Very nice staff and great food. Room came with breakfast included, nice choices really enjoyed. Only 10 min from Lindau Island, near bus line. Small grocery store and bakery within walking distance.

Although the rooms was a small room on the second floor, it was like new and it was very clean! I guess they give these rooms to people who stay for one night and that's what we did as we passed through for Italy. Nevertheless, we had a nice stay: the staff was very kind and the food was excellent....

First we were given a very small room on the second floor up 40 steps with heavy suitcases (know this is not uncommon). In the room we could barely move and had to take turns opening our suitcases. Ridiculous to squeeze 2 beds in that room. We asked for a bigger room but were told they were all the same....

This was our 4th visit at gasthaus Ziegler in Oberreitnau, and again the food was great and the service splendid.. The quality of the beef for the Zwiebelrostbraten was outstanding.. Tender and flavorful, my wife enjoyed the fishplate with the 3 main fish available in the Lake of Constance. This is the only restaurant I know where you get all...

Real good food and attentive service made our visit memorable. The place was very busy, ( Sunday lunch) but drinks and food arrived without to much of a delay. It may look strange for a Bavarian restaurant to have an selection of swordfish on the walls, it's not the prettiest of restaurants I know, but the quality of the food...
