We drove for 5 hours through a blizzard to reach this hotel, only to find the key had not been left in the key box. When we finally managed to rouse the manager, there was no apology, no interest in our journey only a gruffness and hostility that we would come to dread over the next 10 days. When we...

It's a lovely hotel , actually you don't feel that it is a hotel it's more like a home with all the personal collection of the owner Arround the house . Try taking the steps instead of the lift so that you can see more of the collections. Room is adequate for a couple, if kids are there please do...

Stayed here for 2 nights early May, it's a very homely place with a beautiful garden. Excellent breakfast with fresh eggs and coffee. Had dinner one night, was lucky to get fresh fish from Zurich lake, grilled. It was one of the best fish dish I had in years, even the chicken with asparagus was awesome, worth the price I...

Charming decor, bright, nice room, good views. It's a short walk from the train station and to the town centre, but in such a pretty town you don't mind. Staff able to speak English made life much easier for us. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the Bratwurst. There was some small confusion regarding the English...

Nice hotel but the website states the following: "Bruno’s light natural cuisine with bio products from the region is in a class of its own. Our exquisite creations will also delight fans of vegetarian cuisine and wholefoods." This is a misrepresentation. They don't even know what they buy is bio (organic) or not -- they said they hope it is...

Stayed her for 1 night at end of our European trip in September. Decor is what you would imagine from a Swiss hotel, pine and flowers, very twee! Room was a good size, bed was comfortable. Toilet was bit dated but spotless. Rooms have a balcony and 14 " portable tv. Breakfast was European, they also offer a boiled egg,...

Walking from the train station, we were a bit worried because of the "suburbia" along the way. The hotel is cute with a lot of charm, and a nice garden to the side where you can have your breakfast. The restaurant is on site but was closed for dinner the night we were there. The only thing we didn't like...

I had to stop in this town due to a heavy snow on the highway.. I found this nice hotel at the entrance of this beautiful termal town. The price of the hotel is high due to the exchange rate Euro/Swiss franc but the hotel is really excellent. First of all the owner and the workers of the hotel are...
