I've been to Nyon hostel many times and am consistently impressed by their easy-to-use website, swift follow-up to bookings and excellent service once you arrive there. The hostel is a 15 minute walk from Nyon station but there is a very frequent bus service (the 204 Chantemerle) from the station to the hostel. Being close to Nyon station means you have fantastic access to all the tourist or business sites along La Côte, whether you want to go in the Geneva direction (20 minutes by train) or the Lausanne direction (30 mins). The hostel itself has great private rooms with en suites and sunny balconies, as well as the usual hostel shared rooms. These private rooms are about half the price of hotels in the Nyon area...they are spotless and spacious. Sometimes there's a bit of noise from adjoining rooms but nothing to offset the advantages. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay in the canton of Vaud. The staff are very friendly too!

It's a very clean, well organised hostel with good facilities and is a good location for school groups or families looking to keep their budget down. The hostel itself isn't brilliantly located if you want to use it as a base as it's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and there's not much in Nyon of interest anyway. We only stayed as there was nothing affordable in Geneva.
The hostel is perfectly clean, our room was huge and comfortable and the shower was nice. We had a balcony.
Breakfast in the morning was ok, bread with jams and honey, tea/coffee and juices, cereal. Apples, but no meats, cheese or eggs.
The major downsides were the traffic noise outside our window and the fact the rooms are really expensive for what they are.

The staff member offers a warm welcome and they are always available to help. The hostel is so clean as well as the facilities but it will be nice to have a fan in the rooms because it is extremely hot during the summer time which makes my sleeps very uncomfortable as their was no air and I was sweating a lot. However, I recommend this suitable hostel for a Business , couple, family, friends, solo trips.

I had a 6-bed dorm room and the room was huge. The showers are relatively big as well and the simple yet smart design of them made them really comfortable. It is so accessible by bus and overall I really liked it.

The staff are helpful, courtesy and kind. They went out of their way to help me to get necessary information and even trying to help me to book my next B&B. The facility is clean and everything a traveler could need and want. They have a dinning area, kitchen and chill room with sofa and TVs. The best part is they provide a locker FREE in the room where you stay. On top of it, there are power outlets in the locker so you could charging your equipment in a secure locker. How cool is that?! Loving it.

May is one of the best months to visit Nyon. The outdoor Olympic swimming pool has reopened for the season...you can get there by bus from the doorstep of the hostel in 2 easy 10 minute rides. When the weather's fine you can sit in the hostel garden or lie on a hammock or just enjoy a coffee on the terrace of the dining room. If you book a private room you get your own sunny balcony with table and chairs...a big plus. The staff are consistently welcoming, smiling and professional. The cleanliness of the place is consistently excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone, of any age. A real gem of a place.

We stayed a Sunday night in the hostel in room 30 which is a fantastic room, very spacious. We didn't use the option to rent the connection room since we were just the 2 of us but the connecting room has 2 bunkbeds (so for 4 people). We slept 10 hours on the comfy beds.

Excellent in every way....super location, great public transport on the doorstep, beautiful walks in the vineyards only 10 minutes' away, easy 10 minute walk into town or 5 minutes to the little red train stop which puts the Jura on your doorstep.
The staff are very welcoming and the check-in very efficient. A handy little store of basics available at reception. Rooms are super clean with lovely bathrooms.
