Hotel de Verbier is a warm and welcoming hotel in the heart of Verbier a few steps away from the ski lifts. The owners have done an outstanding job and the attention to detail is fabulous. The rooms and hotel itself has a modern spin on the Swiss Chalet style decor. Breakfast was brilliant with a large choice and service was 5 stars. A cozy spa area where you can have a massage, hamman, sauna or relaxing jacuzzi or for those who are brave enough after a long day of skiing, a good size gym which has everything you need. Finally a modern ski room with lockers to put away all your ski stuff to dry whilst you enjoy the amenities this little gem has to offer. Highly recommended.

The hotel just opened it's doors recently; located in the heart of town you couldn’t have a better setup. We had 2 rooms connecting, the layout is very well done for a family of 5. All rooms have a view on the mountains and on the center of town. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent. The owners gave great attention to the decor. Despite the ongoing virus situation and a smaller menu all products are fresh and very well prepared, the wine menu is big with lots of great Italian producers. The hotel is not part of a chain so you will be sure to find a unique touch. Hotels restaurants are loosing their soul, since it is owned by a local couple you will find all the help and special attention you are seeking for. We are looking forward to come back more.

We stayed there in March for a ski week and we were really happy with our choice. We liked our room and the spacious balcony around the corner was fantastic. Also the nice and fresh appearance of the hotel in total. Everything was newly renovated in a chic alpine style, the room was equipped with Nespresso machine, USB plugs and the typical things you can expect in that kind of hotel. A parking place by the hotel would be good. The Spa was also nice, however we used it only twice as the weather during the whole week was so brilliant that we preferred to enjoy our large balcony with the view over the mountains.
Much room for improvement is in the Italian restaurant. The food quality and composition was really disappointing. By far the poorest restaurant experience among all ski hotels we have been to. The interior there was equally nice as the rest of the hotel and breakfast was enjoyable and the staff extremely nice, but dinner quality and variety of choice was disappointing each time. Finally we changed to a sushi restaurant for the last 3 days which was excellent!
Next time for Verbier we would definitely choose this hotel again and would also recommend it to our friends but not having dinner there.

Hi! We are very thankful for your helpful feedback. We apologize for your mixed experience concerning the restaurant during this very start of the summer season. We also had meetings with restaurant management and major changes were executed in the kitchen that very month. We have now carefully analyzed this and we work hard to thereby improve the experience for all our guests. We thank you for the positive feedback concerning our newly renovated property. Please always bear in mind that you will benefit from the best and most actual offers by reserving directly with us. We much look forward to be able to welcome you at another occasion as well! Warm regards Ebba HÔTEL DE VERBIER

The perfect boutique ski hotel. High quality, low key with a great central location. As a family of four we had two attic rooms across the corridor from each other, the rooms were incredibly spacious, modern yet very comfortable with fabulous baths/showers!

The service was excellent, from a welcoming and efficient reception to the wonderful breakfast team who made the day start with a smile (morning latte’s we’re excellent, thank you). Il Nonna was a great restaurant to have in the hotel, we ate evening meals twice there and thought the food and service was terrific, super high quality Italian!

The spa was perfect, with a bit jacuzzi and sauna and steam just what the Dr ordered and my wife and daughter had facial and massages which we excellent.

The boot room had glove and boot warmers and was never too busy.

The only potential improvements would be to have the fire on more during the day to make it a cosier reception area and to have a better selection of fresh fruit at breakfast (including berries). Minor points that wouldn’t change our fabulous holiday but would be nice additional touches.

We will definitely return to Hotel De Verbier when next in Verbier.

Absolutely Fabulous. Everytime i come across a gem like this, i am tempted to leave a bad review so it becomes mine alone! First trip to Verbier and just staying here was the icing on the cake. You cannot get anymore central, and you must be thinking it’s going to be noisy. The makeover on this little gem left nothing to chance and the sound proofing is excellent for a ski resort. The most amazing, attentive staff. Cleanliness through this covid crisis was paramount. Beautiful linens, towels and toiletries. Lovely little spa to relax those tired muscles. Staff constantly cleaning and replenishing towels. Great little boot room. Big enough to store skis, hats, boots and gloves. It has been very hard to say goodbye. I wish the family every success - you can tell there has been a lot of love put into this lovely beauty.

The recently opened hotel de Verbier is perfectly located right on Place Centrale. The hotel has been completely rebuilt and extremely tastefully done up with a perfect balance between Scandinavian clean lines and Alpine authenticity - and the result is classy, yet homely and inviting at the same time.

The service is impeccable and friendly, with the added bonus that the owners themselves are in charge of the daily running of the hotel.

The Italian restaurant la Nonna, offers guests a fabulous dining experience - a welcome change from take away and home cooking these days.

Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Perfect gym/spa area - on weekdays only a few other guests around, therefore we felt safe all the time. Bed was extremely comfy. Everything newly renovated and in excellent condition. Restaurant (La Nonna) open for hotel guests - we appreciated this a lot as all other restaurants only had take away offers due to Covid restrictions.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are so happy to hear that you had a comfortable stay and you enjoyed using all of our facilities. We were very fortunate, in this very different kind of winter season, to be able to offer our hotel guests the opportunity to eat at a restaurant and so we are thrilled that you enjoyed it. We hope to welcome you back soon, Kind regards, Hôtel de Verbier team

I am not sure how you de-link the reviews from the previous hotel before it was knocked down and replaced. Seems strange as the new hotel is excellent.

Its absolutely beautiful and a great location right on Place Centrale. We were the first people to stay in the rooms. Really great service happens when things go slightly wrong. The central heating was too hot and the curtains didn't close properly. Next morning the plumber is in the corridor fixing it and an eye mask provided whilst they take the curtains down and mend them. Things are never perfect on opening weekend but this was phenomenal.

Breakfast enormous, varied and fit for a king. A great hotel for families with the rooms with interconnecting rooms.

This genuine 4+ star hotel ideally centered in the heart of Verbier offers outstanding value for its price. Recently renovated it comes with nicely appointed rooms with great views into the surrounding mountain panorama. But what makes this hotel truly exceptional is their customer service which stands a class apart from other hotels anywhere.

We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel. The location was perfect, the staff were friendly, and the mountain concierge was especially helpful in getting us ski and snow shoeing and restaurant reservations.

Our only issue was with temperature control in the bedroom, and the bed comfort. The bed was very uncomfortable, and we did not have the ability to control room temperature. Most nights it was so hot in the room that we had to leave the balcony door open, which caused us to wake up multiple times from street noise. Otherwise we LOVED our stay and would gladly come back.

I was at Verbier in September and did not attend the festival. But this hotel is in the middle of all the activities in town and very close to shopping, dining, etc. I don't think you would go wrong staying there, however I would take a look at the map and check out the festival location in relationship to the hotel accommodation to get a better feel for accessibility if that is your aim.
