This hotel is located right on the waterfront with amazing views. From the train station you catch a local bus and the hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. I found the bed in this hotel to be really comfortable. A free buffet breakfast was included in our rate and the food was delicious... More

We spent one night here. The views were stunning. The rooms are very nice and recently renovated. The restaurant is just amazing, we had a delicious dinner and breakfast. If you can get a room with a balcony, and enjoy a cup of coffee and the fanatastic view there. We will definitely return to this hotel.

A nice hotel that we stopped in on our way back from Italy to the UK. There was a little misunderstanding when we checked in and were asked if we wanted to dine - we did. We were told the restaurant closed at 10pm. It was a little after 8 and we had been driving 7 hours so we went... More

As a semi-professional photographer I make a living taking unusual photographs of the places I visit. I took lots of photographs of the hotel, many late at night all showing the the hotel in an inviting manner. As normal we sent the manager, Oliver Muller, low resolution images with a view to selling them. To our surprise we found that... More

This hotel is about 3 minutes walk from the boat station, so is very accessible. We booked through Inghams and had a room on the top floor. It was a lovely large room at the end of the corridor and had two windows: one facing the road, the other was at the side of the hotel and had a lake... More

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights last week (July 27th-30th). The first thing to mention about the hotel is its location on the lake - it is just superb. The balcony rooms offer the best views imaginable and the location of the restaurant is also terrific. There is a good sized swimming pool situated right on the lake... More

This is one of the most stunning locations you could wish for and the hotel is in a prime position overlooking Lake Lucerne. Yes, it is not cheap but worth every franc. Our room was on the 1st floor, spacious, immaculate with all mod. cons. It comes with a garden terrace inc. table and loungers and best of all............the view,... More

We spent only one night in this lovely hotel. Hotel and it's grounds are a little bit on a shabby side, everything being a little bit old. But as it was so charming, it did not bother us at all. The hotel is located right by the lake Vierwaldstättersee, which is one of the most beautiful lakes in Switzerland. The... More

We enjoyed the garden of this hotel very much, located next to the lake. However, the main waiter (maître - older man), overcharged us twice for our drinks (plus 8 franks every time!). When we confronted him, he said we needed to pay "extra" because he had given us some crisps and chips. Totally unacceptable behaviour; watch out for your... More

We had a lake view room on the top floor, which has no balconies (so if you want one, you'll need to specify). The room was comfortable and the bathroom recently renovated. There is no air-con, so we left the windows open. Problem with that is the local church bells toll every 15 minutes, even throughout the night! The position... More
