The positive first, the view is nice, the hotel is quite cosy, even if the room are somewhat small. Not for the bad news: should anything go wrong, and by this I mean anything at all (toilet flushing, linen dirty, etc) then you will get a pretty nasty response from the owner, who is a gruff burly man who clearly...

Fantastic hotel with a lovely friendly staff and very helpful. Food was great and the rooms very comfortable and clean. Great atmosphere and lots to do. Would recommend it to families, weekenders, skiers, conférences they are available for everyone. I will be definitely coming back Thank you all.

We absolutely loved all about this hotel. On the top of the mountain with specular view that changes every 10 min. Our family room was spacious, meticulously clean and the baby bed we came with pillow and a warm blanket (free of charge). The breakfast was outstanding (even the fruit salad was made of fresh fruits) while enjoying the view...

Hotel was clean, staff friendly and willing to do more to make the stay more comfortable. Food was nice too though may become monotonous if on a long stay. Would visit again and recommend to others. Booking was easy and correspondence was promptly attended and responded to. Value for money. The view from my room was spectacular. The room was...

I stayed here for four nights with my family. It is located in the top of mountain and about 500 meters away from the last train station. However you need to call a taxi if you have a lot of luggage, as the way from last train station to the hotel is not paved or easy to go(at least for...

I stayed there for four nights in early August. It is probably good to know the hotel is located at the top of the village and in a dead end street. There is parking along the hotel but the street is narrow so not so easy but there is a small parking at the end of the street. You can...

Booked into this hotel for 6 nights as part of a package tour. The hotel was superb, staff very friendly and rooms very traditional. We had requested a corner room which was slightly larger than others. Our view was fantastic - each morning sitting on our balcony looking down the valley - what more could you want!! Beds were comfortable,...

I had some expectations reading the raving reviews this hotel gets, and I do not understand why...For me it did not start well. confusion with the room, which was my fault?? Termites that eat the wood and you hear all night, a sink that does not drain, for 2 nights we did get only 1 set of clean towels and...

I recently stay at Le Grand Chalet for a biking trip with two friends. It's the 2nd time I've stayed here and I highly recommend it. Family Bonelli and their staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent with amazing views. There is enough choice for breakfast it will keep you going all day! Many thanks Jacky and family....

If you're a sucker for Chalets and its typical interior, this is the place to go....Beautiful hotel, cozy rooms....great atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. Last but not least, the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel is not to blame for Switzerland being ridiculously expensive nowadays. nor that the village of Leysin is built on a hill. A car is...
