Stayed 1 night during the week in November, as we were working in town, although when we arrived the computer system crashed Rita the bar person/receptionist/computer technician/waitress did her best to get us sorted as best she could, a couple of complimentary Guinness's in the bar while our room was sorted sure did the trick, The hotel was quiet but...

Myself and a few of my friends stayed here last weekend and I cannot rate it highly enough. The staff were amazing and facilities were just as good. To top it off you're only a stones throw away from the town. I need to highlight how amazing the staff were. From the minute we walked in to the place until...

I took my son to a sports event in Carlow and booked a family room as it was all that was available, but I thought it was expensive at €120 for a night for myself and my 11 year old. On seeing that there was only two of us rather than 4 as would normally be the case for a...

We overnighted at The Courthouse Hotel on our way down to the Glen of Aherlow and were pleasantly surprised. Carlow is a town I visited quite a bit about 15 years ago and loooks much the same today. Parking for the hotel is a sharp right parallel to the hotel through a narrow passage so snug it almost felt like...

Located just off Carlow Main Street. Well appointed clean rooms. Excellent bar food and service. Lovely old bar. Table service breakfast. Definitely stay here again. Staff were very friendly. For Guinness lovers like me- they have pint bottles of Guinness 😄

We booked this hotel via booking.com and selected a twin room. Mins after we booked it the hotel phoned us and advised that there were no twin rooms left when we booked and for the inconvenience they offered us 2 separate double rooms. We would of settled for 1 double room but the hotel insisted, which was great service. When...

“Our room 103 was roomy, very recently decorated with lovely fuschia feature wall, quaint walk in wardrobe which looked like a door to connecting room, lovely big bathroom with great shower and lovely morroccan style shimmering floor tiles, beautiful cornices and all you could want. All looked just so fresh and clean and newly finished.”

“I never checked the wifi as I have my own data. I stayed in a room in the middle of the hotel down side lane which was lovely and quiet. Very fond of this hotel and often eat here when passing through Carlow.”
