Like previous reviewers, I found all the hugely positive comments to be an understatement - Tighard has got to be one of the top guest houses on the planet. Colin and David really know how to deliver a five star experience, all the way from...More

Thank you for the excellent Review its much appreciated and we will keep striving to maintain the high standards and make sure guests have a wonderful stay.
Gemma Gaugan's review says in a very eloquent way all the things I would say about my stay at Tighard. I had to travel to Canna for work and as soon as the ferry arrived and we were picked up by Colin and David I...More
This place is stunning, Colin and David deliver a faultless experience. The attention to detail paid to their house takes you back to a grander age. And as others say below, the food is amazing!

HI, There is a cafe and we also do evening meals but i understand completely that it can be expensive eating out every night.Guests are welcome to bring some food of their own to the guest house and i can store things for them but im not able to allow access to the kitchen as we use it on a daily basid for lunches and dinners. However if its produce easily put together for meals thats no problem. The cafe daytime sells soups ,Toasties, smaller dishes at a cheaper price and also does takeaways so it should be fairly inexpensive. We can also do packed lunches here .I hope that answers your questions. In the winter months we are thinking of letting the whole house while we are away.
